• Roxy's point of view •
I exited the bathroom in one of Jeonghan's bathrobe, walking towards his closet to find something to wear.
I really am in need to go out and buy new clothes but in the meantime, I'm lucky one of their working girls gave me some new pairs of undergarments.
I am not the type to re-wear undergarments. No.
I put them on and this time, grabbed one of his button down shirts before draping it on me like a dress, and exited his room.
Jeonghan must already be downstairs as it was 12PM noon, and I must have dozed off without waking up once, throughout.
I asked the maids that were passing by, for directions towards the dining hall and sure enough I arrived at the magnificent hall, to be met with everyone sitting there, except me.
Even my parents together with Mr and Mrs Choi were there as the dining hall was really big enough to fit all of us.
The only seat available was beside my mom, which was luckily, beside Jeonghan.
I entered the room, giving mom and dad a kiss before settling down on the chair while Mr Choi signaled the maids to serve the meal.
"Nice outfit Roxy."
I glared at Jun who commented on it before gesturing my butter knife towards him.
"Good point Jun. Whose shirt are you wearing though Roxy?"
My mother questioned while I mentally cursed as I haven't told them that I'm now dating Jeonghan.
"Umm... Jeonghan."
I answered truthfully, seeing no point in lying while she just gave a thoughtful look.
"I've been wondering when that feud between the two of you will end. Makes me frustrated that the both of you could not see that you're meant for each other."
She remarked casually which had me raising my brows at her coolness.
Everyone knows that Jeonghan and I used to hate each other.
"I know right Layla. I've been very disappointed with Jeonghan in not noticing how perfect she is for him. All he ever talked, about is trying to kill her."
Mrs Choi backed up on my mom's statement which had me gaping at the both of them.
I never knew our mothers shipped us.
"Mom you never told me you thought Roxanne was perfect for me."
This time it was Jeonghan who asked the question which had Mrs Choi flashing a small smile towards him.
"It's better for you to have find out yourself my son."
I smiled before turning towards him and he too turned to me with a small smile before leaning in and placing a kiss on my forehead.
Our mothers gushed at the side while I was blushing a bit, seeing him openly expressing his feelings in front of our parents.
"Not fair mom. Why didn't you think she was perfect for the rest of us?"
Soonyoung whined which earned a chuckle from the rest of us.
"For starters Soonyoung-ah, she is older than all of you except the eldest three."
Soonyoung pouted at his mother's fact.
"But I like older girls mom."
Now this time it was Mingyu whining while I raised my brows at him.
They definitely like to piss their brother.
Jeonghan hushed them, telling them that I was only his, which had me rolling my eyes at his possessiveness.
"Now I'm sad mom. She's younger than me and Jisoo too. So why didn't you let us have a chance with her?"
Seungcheol whined and I was looking at him with a fed up face.
"Am I some sort of a tester for you guys to take chances with?"
I deadpanned while he just stuck his tongue out at me, that had me pulling up my fist towards him.
"My dear sons, you'll find your perfect matches soon. Jeonghan was just lucky enough to stumble upon her. Yet, he still started off on a wrong foot with her."
Mrs Choi dismissed all other complaints and what she said made me think back to the long 5 years of having resent and remorse against each other.
She is right.
I'm lucky to have stumble upon him 5 years ago.

The meal was very fulling and delicious, as I wiped my mouth with the napkin before lifting the glass of wine towards my lips.
I drank a few sips before letting it down as we waited for dessert and I found this, the perfect time to crack up the question.
"Dad, who were the rats in both our empire?"
The whole dining hall went silent as I stared at my dad who was giving off no expressions.
"We have disposed of them, don't worry sweetheart."
I gritted my teeth as he is intentionally, blocking out my interrogation, again.
"Dad. Who were they yesterday?"
"Roxanne."
"We had a lot of men, from both the Diamond and Gold mafia. We could have taken them down. But you fled, which is unlike you Dad."
I ignored his stern voice and look before stating the obvious.
We had a stare down and while the deafening silence was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.
I felt Jeonghan's hand gripped mine in a warning to maybe let it go but I gripped it harder to let him know that I am not backing down.
"The only reason I could think of is because you do not want to take them on."
With that my dad broke the stare and that had me widening my eyes while my body tensed. Then I turned towards my mom who was avoiding eye contact and also Mr and Mrs Chois.
"What aren't you telling me?"
I whispered out before I turned to the guys who were sporting confused face, initiating that they didn't know either.
I faced Jeonghan and he too had no idea with what was going on until I heard my dad spoke.
"Raymond."
I froze upon hearing his name, my body shaking, the hand that was holding onto Jeonghan's gripping harder.
Slowly, I turned my face back towards my dad who was staring at me with a sad face, while I saw from the corner of my eyes, my mother shedding tears.
"He's back Roxanne."
With those words, I started panting loudly as horrible memories from my past flooded my mind and soon I couldn't breathe, as if someone was blocking my air passage or someone was gripping my neck harshly.
I was having a panic attack. It's suffocating.
"Roxanne? Roxanne!"
The faint sound of someone calling my name was unclear and soon dark clouds started to clog my vision and the last thing I felt was a warm surface before I completely blacked out.
