Cedric Diggory

'Cedric Diggory', your heart sank when you heard his name come up in the Goblet of fire. You know how bad things can get and how some people died through the process.
Cedric looked at you and smiled excitedly and you managed to force a small smile.

Weeks passed and the odd feeling in your gut didn't go away especially when you heard he had to fight a dragon.

'DRAGON?' you yelled in the Hufflepuff common room.

'Shhh', Cedric said trying to quiet you.

'There has to be a way out!' you started panicking. 'I' m not going to lose you'.

He held you in his arms and kissed your forehead hiding the fact that he was scared as hell.

He managed to survive the dragon and you almost had a heart attack watching him. You jumped in his arms when the first tournament was over and kissed him passionately.

Days passed and Professor Sprout announced that there will be a Yule Ball and started explaining everything. You knew you are going with Cedric since he was your boyfriend so you didn't give it much of a thought if he didn't ask you.

However, on your way to the Great Hall, Cedric stood on one of the benches and yelled, 'Oi y/n'. You flushed and looked at him. 'I may not be the Tri-wizard Winner, but with you I' m always a winner. Go to the ball with me? '

All the students were quiet waiting for your answer. You blushed and nodded. Everyone cheered.

You wore a beautiful white gown to the ball and Cedric was drooling over you. He didn't allow anyone to dance with you, always kissing you and whispering cute things in your ear.

At the end of the night, when you both got to the common room, he whispered, 'When we graduate, will you become Mrs. Diggory?'

Tears welled in your eyes and nodded.

All you can remember is walking to Dumbledore's office and then you woke up with Cedric in the lake. Apparently you were petrified and he had to save you.

'Apparently you are my knight in shinny armor' you joked. 'And you are my princess' he replied hugging you close.

The final task arrived and you couldnt be happier for the whole thing to be over.

'Before I go', Cedric said. 'Give me your hand'.

You gave him your hand and he slipped a beautiful ring.

'Thats my promise that I will marry you' he said and left.

Little did you know that it will be the last time you will see him.
