"Welcome to the wonderful world of jealousy, he thought. For the price of admission, you get a splitting headache, a nearly irresistible urge to commit murder, and an inferiority complex. Yippee."

Jealous Spencer
"Here, my love, a cup of coffee extra sweet like you." Spencer smiles, being handed the cup that Giuliette just finished making. He gives her a quick peck on the lips as the girls around him fake gag.
"Even though that was cringe, it was kinda cute." Garcia sighed happily, looking at Giuliette sitting on Spencer's desk.
"I know, I wish I had someone to be disgustingly cute with." Emily jokes as Giuliette throws a rolled-up piece of paper at her.
"I can't say anything; my dream man is waiting for me at home with my little man." JJ smiles, thinking about her boyfriend and the cute family she has.
"Honestly, I feel like everyone is starting to settle down, and I'm not here for it." Emily whines as Garcia nods in agreement.
"Settling down can mean different things. Didn't you tell me about the house you're trying to get? That's a good step towards settling down." Giuliette adds as she holds her hand out for Spencer to hold. He does it happily.
"Yup, a row house in Dupont Circle," Emily responds nervously.
"A row how in Dupont circle. Wow." Garcia gasps as JJ, Garcia, and the two geniuses nod.
" I can't believe I'm doing it. I mean, it's probably not going to work out anyway. There are five other sealed bids, and I offered way below what the owners are asking for, " Emily explained, getting up. The three girls and Spencer all following.
"Uh-huh. It sounds to me like someone's hoping they don't get it." JJ chimes as Emily shakes her head immediately in denial.
"Orthophobia--fear of owning personal property," Spencer adds, showing Giuliette pictures of a new case.
"No, I don't have a fear of owning stuff. Turn me loose in a shoe store, I'll prove that. My fear is personal property that weighs 300 tons" Emily sighs already getting stressed by the house that's not even hers yet.
"Actually, depending on materials used, square footage, and horizontal versus vertical construction, the average house only weighs about 60 tons. " Spencer informs hurriedly walking.
"Well, thanks for that, Reid. I feel light as a bird already. Giuliette, control your man." Emily says, making Giuliette laugh. They see the rest of the team already in the briefing room.
"What have we got, baby girl?" Morgan asks as Penelope goes to the front.
"We have a killing in Enid, Oklahoma. And not the capital punishment one you are thinking of right now. I'm talking about a woman named Cara Smith, who was murdered in her apartment minutes after the execution of Rodney Garrett." Penelope informs as pictures pop up on the screen. Giuliette flips through the images.
"Neighbors saw her front door open and discovered the body," Hotch adds with Rossi quickly stating.
"Look familiar?"
"Young, pretty, short blonde hair," Giuliette responds, biting her nails in anticipation. Reid quickly grabs her hand and holds it stopping her from doing so.
"And stabbed directly through the heart," Rossi adds.
"That's exactly the way Garrett killed his victims." Spencer chimes.
Morgan asks, "So are we looking at a copycat?"
"Actually, some of these cases show a desire to create doubt about the person being executed," Giuliette suggests looking at Spencer.
"In Garrett's case, there was no doubt. His guilt was the slam dunk of all slam dunks. Prints, DNA, a confession." Rossi says, shaking his head on a possible error.
"He even led the police to where he buried two of his victims," Reid says with Emily adding.
"Garret killed 25 women before he was caught. If this new unsub is a copycat, the body count's just started." Emily noted, making the team nod.
"Which is why we can't waste time wheels up in 30." Hotch orders walking out. Spencer and Giuliette quickly get their go-bags and head towards the jet. They both sit next to each other as the team starts to analyze.
"Hey, you okay, babes?" She asks, seeing Spencer wince a bit.
"Yea, just a small headache. No need to worry." He lies. It wasn't small, and it was huge. His headaches have been getting worse, but he doesn't want to alarm her.
"Take a small nap I'll wake you up when we get there." She suggests as he leans his head on her shoulder and closing his eyes.
These past few months have been paradise. They are in sync professionally, physically, and emotionally. They make time for each other and know when they need to have their alone time.
Next month is there one year anniversary, and both are incredibly excited. They love each other and just want to spend every second together.
"We land in 20 minutes, Reid, JJ, and Giuliette go to the latest crime scene. Rossi, you and Prentiss talk to Garrett's widow. Morgan and I will go to the prison. If Garrett's got a disciple, we need to find out who he is and fast. " Hotch orders as the team gets ready to land.
"Babe, wake up, my love. We are about to land. We're going with JJ to the crime scene." Spencer rubs his eyes and looks at his girlfriend. He quickly kisses her.
"Team Brains." He yawns, holding his fist high, making her laugh a bit.
"Oh yeah!" She beams as they both smile.
The second they land, they split into teams. JJ, Reid, and Giuliette arrive at the latest crime scene. It was all surrounded by cops and yellow tape.
"Oh. Hey. I'm Detective Childers. You must be with the FBI?" An older man says, holding out his hand out at JJ.
" I'm Agent Jareau. This is Dr. Reid and Dr.Carter." JJ greets, pointing to the duo.
"Hi." He responds, holding his hand out to Spencer, who just awkwardly waves and looks away. Feeling a bit bad for the man, Giuliette shakes his hand.
"Sorry about him. He has a thing about germs." Giuliette eases the tension.
"Wow, may I say, if you two represent the whole female department, then I'm quite disappointed not to have joined the FBI." Childers smiles, making the three a bit uncomfortable. Awkward smiles fill the room.
"It's not like you would've made it in any way," Spencer adds.
"...erm...why don't yall follow me back here? It's unbelievable this is happening all over again," Childers says, walking towards the corpse. The trio follows suit.
"Who is she?" Reid asks
"Jodie Armstrong. Single works at a cosmetic counter at a department store downtown." He explains as Giuliette looks around.
"Young, pretty, short blond hair. Same victimology as the others. " JJ explains.
"Who discovered the body?" Giuliette asks a bit disturbed with the body.
"Apartment manager. A neighbor called to complain that a teapot in the kitchen kept on whistling." Childers responds as the trio nodded.
"Can I get a closer look?" Giuliette questions as the detective smiles.
"Yes, of course. Anything the pretty lady wants to do, she can." He adds, making Spencer a bit annoyed.
Spencer clears his throat and grabs her hand. The detective puts two and two together. He awkwardly walks to the other side of the room. Giuliette gives him a quick kiss and goes to the body after putting on gloves. She starts observing.
"Hey, Babe. Come here. Look at this." She calls out, making him quickly go to her.
"What is it?"
"This girl cares about her appearance. Obviously, she's fit, her nails are perfectly done but look at her hair. It's uneven." She points out as he shrugs.
"Could it maybe be a fashion statement, you know, like, bad on purpose?" He suggests making her laugh.
"Hey, guys, look at this," JJ says, showing them pictures taken from her phone. "It was taken last night. The unsub cut her hair." JJ informs, making the two look at her.
"Thank you. That will be all." Giuliette calls out to the detective, then turned to Reid and JJ. "We have to get back to Hotch." The trio leaves the scene and goes back to the car.
"Why do men always try to go after you?" Spencer whines, making her smile.
"I don't know. But I kinda like it if I get to see jealous Spencer." She adds, making him roll his eyes.
"I wasn't jealous." Spencer defends, making her give him a look. "Fine, maybe I was." She wraps her arms around him.
"Don't be. It's us against the world, remember. Team Brains forever. Plus, I love you and not them." She kisses his cheek, and he blushes.
"I love you too."
