"I really can't believe that you can hold your breath for three minutes. That's impossible. I can barely hold my breath for three seconds." Giuliette laughs as Luke stares at her in shock. The whole team minus JJ and Emily were around her desk.
"I was drunk at a party and we were bobbing for apples, I just didn't realize we were. I thought we were seeing how long we can hold our breaths underwater. They pulled me up at three minutes thinking I passed out. Fun times." Spencer comes around the corner and sits on the side of her desk.
"You know with the benefit of breathing first, the current Guinness World Record for holding your breath is held by Aleix Segura of Spain at a 24 minute 3 seconds. " Spencer added making the duo look at him.
"Why do you even know that?"
"Don't ask." Giuliette smiles and pats Spencer on his leg. "Did you get my c-"
He interrupted, "Coffee with two sugar cubes and a splash of milk. Yes."
"Thank you I really needed it. Lia was up all night. I don't know how that child can be running around at these hours. I would be knocked out." She sighs closing her eyes.
Lia threw a tantrum after realizing that Spencer wasn't going to be able to read her a story, which he usually does. He had a huge headache which caused him to fall asleep early. Lia started crying and it took hours for her to go to sleep.
"I'm really sorry about that. I was going to call you, but then I knocked out and I-"
She held her hand up to stop him, "Relax Spence. I know how bad your headaches are. We're both fine so don't beat yourself up for it." He nods smiling a bit and lightly places his hand on hers.
It's been a month since his not so little confession, she just responded with a smile and cuddled closer to him. They never brought it up again. She wasn't ready to give him another shot. At least not yet. Those words caught her off guard. She knows he means it and deep down she feels the same, but it's too early.
Since that day they did get closer. They went back to their flirtatious friendship. The team is rooting for the duo.
They are a happy family. Lia is obsessed with him. She is such a daddy's little girl, which is why they decided to move in together. Recently they bought a bigger apartment so that Lia and Giuliette share a room and Spencer has one. They haven't moved in yet.
"Where is she anyway?" He looked around trying to find his little girl. She's a runner.
"I think I saw her talking to the receptioni-"
"Guys we got a case." JJ walks in holding up a file. The team groans. They haven't had a case in a few days and they were loving the break.
