I had just gotten out of the shower and was in my room about to get ready for the wedding when there was a knock on my door. I opened it with some sweats and a t-shirt and smiled when I saw Andy.

"Hey, you come to sit with me while I get ready?" I asked.

"You can't go to the wedding," he said.

"If this is one of those romantic gestures where you stop me from getting on a plane then that's cute but I've got a half an hour to grab a snack and get ready," I said.

"It's not," he said. "I just don't want you to go."

"Andy, I RSVP'd a long time ago," I said. "It's my favorite cousin. My mom is picking me and Mikey up," I said. "Wh-why wouldn't I be allowed to go?"

"Because you're gonna go and there is gonna be drinking and late night dancing and weddings are notorious for hookups," he said.

"My family is there, I'm not gonna drink underage in front of them," I said. "And I'm not gonna hook up with anyone random, I love you, Andy, I only want to be with you."

"How am I supposed to believe that?" Andy asked. "You're cheating on me, aren't you?"

"No, I'm not," I denied. "I promise you I'm not."

Andy sat on my bed, looking down at his lap sadly.

"If you wanna leave me I guess I would understand," he said.

"No, Andy, I love you," I said, hurrying over to sit beside him.

He stood up, going towards the door.

"I guess if you don't really love me then you can go to the wedding," he said.

"No, no, I won't go," I said. "Please, don't leave me."

Andy turned to look at me and I pulled out my phone, calling my mom.

"Hi, mom," I said quietly.

"Hey, sweetie, are you almost ready?" She asked.

"I don't think I can go," I said. "I-I'm just feeling super sick and was throwing up. I must have gotten food poisoning or something. I don't feel good, I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it to the wedding."

"Okay, I'll send your congratulations, feel better," she said.

I hung up and sniffled as I looked down. Andy smiled and kissed my forehead.

"I just can't trust you to go there," he said. "I'm sure you understand, you can act a little whorish sometimes."

I bit my lip and looked down.

"Well, d-do you wanna hang out today then since I'm not doing anything anymore?" I asked.

"No," he said. "I'm gonna head out, I was gonna hang out with some of my frat brothers."

Andy left and I sniffled. I sat at my desk and sighed as I put away all my makeup. I hung the dress up and slipped on some shoes, grabbing my keys before deciding to go to the cafeteria. I grabbed some food, going to sit at a table to eat. I was almost done when someone came over to my table and I looked up to see Jamia.

"Hey, what time are you going to the wedding?" she asked. "You're gonna have to send me photos when you're finished getting ready."

"Oh, um, I'm not going anymore," I said.

"Oh, what happened?" She asked.

"It's kind of complicated," I mumbled.

"Alright, well, text me if you ever wanna hang out or something," she said.
