"baby im going to mcdonalds you want anything?" i say to jalen who was playing warzone with josh and sharife.
"hold up, come again babe?" he says, turning around.
"you want anything from mcdonalds?" i say walking up to him, for him to hear me.
"12 piece chicken nuggets" he says smiling and i nod,
"and a sprite too" he says as he turns back around to play his game.

"okay, i'll be back. i love you" i say to him and he turns around as i peck his lips.
"i love you too drive safely aight?"

"i will !!"

back at home
i get out of my car as jalen and i's food were in my hands. i can hear jalen talking from the outside, he's never loud. probably arguing with josh and sharife again. i walk i but he didnt seem to notice, but i heard my name.

"y/n? why?" i hear jalen say making me confuse. how did i became the topic?

"man i love everything about that girl, you know i wont ever ask for more, i love her to death"

i shake my head smiling, and he starts to talk again.

"i dont like? well, she's very clingy. like really clingy. i feel like im in a cage when she becomes all touchy and shit, you know what i mean?"

my smile dropped as soon as he stops, i was about to go in when he starts to talk again,

"just because i dont like it doesnt mean i hate it dummy. i love how clingy she is actually. makes me feel like im on top of the world"

im completely speechless, i actually thought-

"bro you so inlove"  i overheard sharife say,.

"well i am, and you cant blame me. im telling you having a fine ass girlfriend is not for the weak, shit everytime i lay my eyes on that woman i just fucking melt. i forgot how to play basketball for a good 30 minutes"

jalen says, a chuckle following after, making me lightly chuckle as well. he turns around, and jumps as soon as he sees me.

"how long have you been there?" he says, standing up from his chair.
"30 minutes ago" i say smiling, and he scratches the back of his neck as he sits down beside me.
"so uh- you-" "yes i did" i say to him nodding with a smile on my face,
"shit" he mumbles making me chuckle. i give him his food and he lays back.

"can i give you a hug" i say to him, and he looks up with his brows furrowed.
"of course you can wtf" he says and he pulls me to him.
"just making me sure, i mean i dont want you to feel like youre in a cage or sum" i say as i wrap my arm around him, and i hear him chuckle.

"i thought you heard everything" he says as i feel him looking down at me making me look up at him.
"i did" i mumble as i put my leg on top of him.

"i actually thought you hated it" i say and he chuckles.
"i dont" he says between chuckles as i draw circles on his arm.

"what-"

"baby, shush. i love everything that you do to and for me. i'll never stop falling inlove with you..." he says as he lets out a sigh and i see him put his head back.

"..remember that"
