"yeah yeah" i overhear nahmier say as we walk to the cafeteria.
"you going out again?" i ask turning to him and he looks at me wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
"nah, the guys just invited me to hoop" he says making me let out a fake chuckle,
"so you're going out" i say and he furrows his brows.
"well, we'll be hooping at mines so technically im not" he says and i nod chuckling.

"why?" he says turning to me making me turn to him as well,
"i thought you said you were gonna help with this science project" i say to him with a smiles and his mouth forms into an "o" shape, while he scratches the back of his neck.

"oh we'll be quick- dont worry. you can stay at mines after school and lets do it tonight. that cool with you?" he says as we sit down,
" yea-" "whats uppp lovebirds" we hear jalen (childs) say, as he sits infront of us.

"wassup man" nahmier says dapping up jalen, then we shared hugs.
"where's jaydon?" i ask him and he shakes his head,
"he's absent today" he says as me and nahmier both nod. it got silent for some reason, until jalen spoke up.

"i swear y'all look so good together" he says putting his face on his hands, making nahmier and i chuckle.
"nah we staying as bestfriends" i say turning to nahmier,
"right?"

"riight" i say as i slowly nod. still cant believe that i havent told her how i feel, and its been months.

i look up at jalen who was looking at me sternly, did he really just texted me this beside y/n? what a dumbass.

"what time should i be at yours?" y/n speaks turning to me, making me turn to her as i put my phone down.
"i'll tell your mama you'll be at mines after school" i say to her simply, and she smiles as she nods.
"aww" i hear jalen say, making me look at him with a "if you dont stop imma fuck you up" eyes.

the bell rings and all of us stand up,
"see you later" y/n says as she pulls me into a hug, shit she smells good.
"aight i'll see you" i say, kissing her cheek earning a reaction from jaylen. y/n walks the opposite while i make my way to jaylen,

"jay dont tell me you gon be like this when i ask her out" i say looking at him sternly and he laughs.
"shut up i saw your dick rising when she hugged you" he says between laughs, making me chuckle.

who wouldnt though, y/n's real bad. she hella smart too.

"its aight tho my dick would feel the same too" he say making me turn to him,
"i mean imagine having the finest girl in school hug you shiii"

"yeah okay you can stop now" i say to him as we enter the classroom.
"look at you being territorial and shit" he says making me chuckle as we sit down.

"yeah man im claiming her now and you cant do shit about it"

nahmier's house - y/n
"you good here?" nahmier says holding a ball, and i nod as a response.
"yeah yeah i'll be fine" i say to him and he nods, as he make his way to his friends. jaydon's lazy ass is here too, he just didnt want to go to school.

i watch them as they play, but my eyes mostly stayed on nahmier. he looks so happy when he do the things he love, hell everything about him makes me happy. everything about nahmier is so contagious, and i would be damned if our friendship disappear because of how im feeling about him.

"you good?" jaydon says walking up to me, and he sits down beside me.
"yeah, how bout your defense?" i say chuckling, since i watched him guard nahmier, and im telling you he cant.
"damn- you didnt have to come at me like that" he says furrowing his brows making me laugh.
"yeah he's hard to guard"
"cant guard me man, yo ass is too soft!" nahmier shouts making me turn to him, as jaydon puts up his middle finger at him.
"anyways, you free this weekend?" jaydon says turning to me, and my eyes widen. uhh..

"yeah why?"
"well i-" "aye y/n lets go in" nahmier shouts as he walks towards me, he looks pissed somehow.
"we're doing the project now?" i ask and he nods, eyeing me and jaydon. weirdo.
we make our way to his room and hear jalen kiss his teeth multiple times. these guys are weird and i am not here for it.

"you okay nahmier?" i ask as i sit down on his bed, while he gathers the stuff for the project.
"yeah im fine" he says not looking at me, while he places the materials on the bed.
"you're clearly not" i say,
"ayo jalen get us some water, thank you" nahmier shouts and he closes the door.

"nahmier." i say sternly, and he didnt respond.
"nahmier i swear to go-" "i said im good, whats so hard to understand" he says furiously as i furrow my brows.
"whats so hard to tell the truth? i thought 'no lies' " i say as calm as possible and he rolls his eyes. okay attitude.

"ask jaydon whats the problem" he says, making me confuse.
"what does jayd.." my voice lowers when it clicked.
"what the fuck? you jealous?" i say between chuckles and he looks at me.
"i have known you more than jaydon, why the hell are you acting like.." i say and my brows furrow, and letting out a sigh. nahmier walks to the couch (in his room cause he rich like that) as we looked at each other. we stare at each other for a brief seconds, when we all of sudden smile. he taps the seat beside him and i walk to him,

"you feel the same way y/n?" he says, staring at his window.
"i think i do" i say, as we turn our heads in unison. he grabs my face pulling me to him, and attaching his lips to mine, making me smile. its been long time since i felt butterflies, and im glad nahmier's the one who woke them up.

he deepens the kiss, pulling me on his lap. he pulls away as he leaves small kisses,
"damn" he mumbles as he completely brek the kiss, and i look at him, tracing his features.
"goddamn i didnt know you were this beautiful up close" he says furrowing his brows as a smirk form his lips, making me chuckle.
"you're beautiful too" i say to him with a smile as he bit his lip.
"you my girl now?" he says as he bites his lip, and i shrug.
"if you want to" i say and he chuckles. he pulls me to him once again sharing another kiss, as his hands roam my body. he pulls away after a few seconds as he looks at me,

"you know you turning me on real bad rn" he says as i tilt my head biting my bottom lip, as i slightly move on his lap, feeling his child wake up.

"shit- yeah fuck the science project"
