Sometimes I sit back and wonder why do certain things happen to good people.

Why are the kindest people the ones that always end up hurt?

I heard somebody call my name Which made me stop thinking.

I look over and see it was Kam.

I was at the gas station and so was he along with Kane.

I got out of my car and went over by them

"Wassup mamas", Kane said

"Hey what y'all doing," I ask

"Business", Kam said

"Oh," I said back

"Shit what you finna do," Kane ask me

"Probably go home and go to sleep,"

"Ima come with you," He said

The first thing that came to my mind was hell, no but then I remember how well last night went so I said okay.

We got back to my place.

"Damn mamas you must get money," he asks while laughing.

"Yeah kinda um my daddy a billionaire," I told him kinda shy.

"You for real," he asks with a shocked look on his face.

"Yeah," I said laughing.

"Shit let me borrow 100 billion then," he said laughing.

"Umm no," I told him while getting out the stuff to cook.

"You about to cook for a nigga?"

"I mean you are my guess so yeah," I told him

"What you going to make," he asks

"Chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli, and greens," I told him.

"Damn it better be good too, because ima tell you if it's bad,"

I look at him and rolled my eyes

"I know how to cook don't play with me," I said.

"We'll see," he told me

I started to cook and it was crazy to me that I only spent one night with Kane and I'm comfortable with him, his vibe is so real that you have no choice to not fuck with him.

"So rich girl where ya family at," he asks while turning on my T.V

"At home probably,"

"Oh they live down here I thought you were from Iowa,"

"I am I move here when I was 14 my mom end up marrying my dad, well he's not my biological father but he has done more for me than my real daddy ever have," I told him

"How was your life before you met him did you still have money," he asked.

"Yeah my mom always been on her shit before my daddy she was a traveling nurse," I told him while putting on the corn.

"Oh so you just been had it like that huh," he asks while smiling.

Kane has a sexy ass smile that kinda made me stuck at times

"Why you smiling so hard," he asks

I didn't even realize I was smiling, but I guess I was.

"Shut up and come get ya food," I told him

He took a few bites and just started smiling hella hard at me.

"This bussing," he said while taking another bite.
