i would like to say you are one of a kind
outwardly, you are from your toes to your fingertips. your mother and father poured themselves into a mixing bowl. they stirred it with a whisk to make the color of your skin. a honey golden mixture. oh so beautiful and soft. perfection (no, not perfection. more than that. you weren't perfect.) to me.
inwardly… i don't know. i never will. you keep all of your emotions inside of you. deep within your whimpering heart. it was the only one you would will yourself to protect. at all costs. it was surrounded by your resilient skin (as warm as it looked it was only a trap for dim-wits… like me).
however, my wailing heart never once crossed your mind
and it so happened to be the one that broke.

kinda an ehhh poem if you ask me.
