Percy PoV

When I finally thought I could trust them again, they turn on me and backstab me. I thought I could forgive them. It was time I turned on them.

I IM'ed Steve, and told them the gods had no right to live. It was true.

Time-Skip

I arrived at the monster base, and visited Steve.

Annabeth PoV

I heard that Steve got a new recruit. And, thus,  Reyna and I were forced into the throne room. Seeing the new recruit almost made my heart break. The same messy, raven black hair and sea green eyes.

I sobbed. Something, someone must have pushed Percy off the edge to join Steve's cause.

Reyna PoV

I watched as Percy pledged his loyalty to Tartarus, a cold, cruel smile making its way up his face. I looked at Annabeth, and she looked as grief-striken as I was.  First, disbelief. Then, anger, guilt, then sadness. What had we done to deserve this?

Timothy the Time-Skip

WE were back in the cell, and Annabeth let the tears flow. She did nothing to deserve this, yet here she was. She watched the love of her life pledge his loyalty to the place she despised. Hated. Feared.

I watched as Percy looked into our cell with a cruel smile on his face.

Percy PoV

I came to the cell, seeing Annabeth and Reyna. The two people that didn't betray me.

"Why? Why, Percy? How could you do this?"

I sneered, and Annabeth flinched.

"They are traitors."

Tears flowed down her face. "Why betray me? I did nothing on the second betrayal. It was my turn to flinch. She was right. What had I done?
