I was just humming Faded by Alan Walker until Frank burst into the clearing. And after that ordeal, quickly asked him the question I waited for.
"Do you still..."
Percy PoV
I felt bad for my great-great-great-great
I resurrected Kronos for this job.
-eat-Great-great-cousin. And then Annabeth decides to shoot me with the arrow of Cupid.
"Do you still...love me?"
I was extremely hesitant to answer her question (gets slapped by Annabeth while he is telling the story) and in the end, I finally answered it.
"Y-yes. Yes Annabeth. I still love you." I gently pulled her into a kiss, and she hesitantly melted into it.
"Well, I love you too, Percy." She said softly.
I gently pressed her into a hug, and she melted into it. Outside, she is a tough, stubborn girl. But inside, she feels alone. Afraid. Scared.
Annabeth PoV
My curls felt like blonde toasters as Percy kissed me. My insides were melting, and I sobbed tears of joy. I finally knew the truth.
