Sorry for the lack of updates, school is hectic but I should hopefully be able to write more often now. Sorry this chapter's a bit of a filler chapter but it will be going places :P

EIGHT

"Here," I handed Ryan my camera as he had been begging me to have a go at taking some pictures ever since we had got here.

"So I just point it to them and click, right?" He asked, holding the eye piece up to his eye.

"There's a lot more to photography then that," I laughed at how funny he looked as he knelt down to take a picture. "You have to get the angle right with the lighting and make sure the models are in shot. Just have a go and then I'll show you how I'd take the same shot," I smiled at him softly.

"Oh, there's more to it than I thought then," he shrugged before I heard several clicks of the camera. I couldn't help but laugh at him being behind the camera. He turned to me and tried to take a few pictures before I protested. "You should be in front of the camera not behind it." Ryan smirked at me.

"You should get better chat up lines!" I shook my head at him before taking my camera back.

"What's a guy gotta do to get laid," he winked at me before letting off a little chuckle. I could get used to that noise because it was always accompanied by a smirk afterwards.

"You're definitely not getting laid now," I shook my head at him once again. I was doing that a lot recently.

"Hey I was only joking." He put his hands up in an act of surrender as if that made the whole thing better. It was kind of cute.

"Whatever you say, now I really need to work so stop distracting me," I sighed before turning to the current photoshoot and photographed the models that were in front of me.

An hour later and I had finished for the day and Ryan was still lurking around in the background.

"I didn't expect you to stay all day you know," I said, walking over to him as I packed everything away.

"I liked watching you work," he smiled at me before taking my camera bag from me. "Want to go out for dinner?"

I contemplated it. Did I really want to spend an evening alone with Ryan? Well that was a no brainer. But then again I didn't want to be spending too much time with him and for him to get bored of me. He had asked me though, without me even mentioning it. If I suggested a movie night and a takeaway round mine he might think I was being too forward and was expecting something else...

"I should probably mention that the other guys will be there, we had arranged to go out for dinner tonight but I was just wondering if you'd want to join me? You could bring  Millie along with you if you wanted to. The other guys wouldn't mind because they all seemed to get along just fine last night,"

So I was just other thinking this, which was a standard thing for me to do in a situation like this.

"Why not? I'll just ask Millie," I smiled at him before pulling out my phone and dropping Millie a text. As always she replied immediately seeming way too excited. Maybe I could start piecing up the missing pieces of last night.

"Great, that means we're on. We're meeting the lads in just over an hour so I'll drive you home so you can get ready. I have spare clothes in my car anyway so do you mind if I get changed at yours? There's probably no point in me going home." He looked nervous at the fact he just asked me to get changed at my house. As if I would have a problem with that.

"Sure that's fine, come on then," I smiled at him heading out of work after saying goodbye to everyone.

***

"Do you need to shower?" I asked Ryan as soon as we walked through the door.

"If that's okay," he said nervously. For a guy so cocky he did get nervous a lot.

"No problem. Come on then." I said, leading the way up the stairs to my room.

I left Ryan in the shower whilst I had to think hard about what I was going to wear. I decided on a blue blazer that had a black trim around the collar which trailed down the front too. I paired it with a shortish black skirt, and a white loose shirt which I tucked into the skirt.

"Are you decent?" Ryan called out to me from the bathroom before opening the door. I said I was so he came into my room. He just stood in the doorway looking at me intently.

"What!?" I asked, giving myself a once over in the mirror in case I had suddenly turned into something completely horrendous.

"Nothing," he smirked at me before sitting down at the bottom of my bed.

"You better be telling me the truth," I said, giving him a playful punch on the shoulder. "Are you ready?"

"Yeah I am, are you?"

"No, give me 5 minutes to do my makeup."

I grabbed my makeup bag and laid out everything that I thought I would need to do my makeup look. I decided on nothing too fancy as I didn't want to be over the top so I just did a standard look with a shimmery eyeshadow but to finish it off, I put on a red lipstick. I fluffed up my curls before spraying it with hairspray to make sure they would stay tamed. I paired my outfit with a simple pair of black heels and then I was ready.

"Come on then," I smiled to Ryan who had been watching me the whole time. He thought I didn't notice but he could have been a little more subtle but subtle was definitely not a word I would ever use to describe him.

"Can I just say, you look lovely tonight," he stood up and walked towards me. I could feel my cheeks heating up with embarrassment from getting a compliment. He was now right in front of me and I held my breath as I had no idea of what he was going to do. His hand reached up to my face and he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear before smirking. "Sorry that bit of hair was annoying me." The thing that made it worse was the fact that he knew what affect he had on me and he was playing with it. I needed to make sure I could hide my emotions a little better otherwise I would be melting at his feet eventually and then that would be so embarrassing.

"Where are we going for dinner anyway?" I asked as we left my house.

"There's an Italian about a 10 minute walk away. I can't remember the name of it but it has such nice food," he carried on telling me where it was for a little while longer and what the food was like. He seemed like he went there a lot.

"Are you ever going to tell me what went down last night?" I tried my luck again. I really wanted to know and it was killing me that I didn’t know if I should be embarrassed about it or not.

"I can see it annoys you so I'm going to leave you in suspense a little bit longer," he chuckled. "Don't worry, it wasn't that bad." He joked as he gently elbowed me, emphasising the ‘that’ which didn’t help me not worry.

"Well it might not have been that bad to you..." I joked elbowing him back.

"Someone's getting feisty," he smirked at me. God that smirk, I would happily die looking at that smirk.
