You feel your cheeks starting to heat up, you smile shyly at him. Your eyes looking down at the snow, as he takes his hand back. Going back to smoking.
Your body starts to shiver, the cold getting to you.
I hate the cold...

"My place is near here."
Frank says, exhaling.
"What...?"
"You could come over... And stay, until you stop shaking like crazy."
He offers, your thoughts running wild.
I really need to get my head out of the gutter...

You smile at him, accepting his offer.
"Alright, bunny. I'll come over, just lead the way."
He throws the cigarette on the ground, stepping on it.
You follow close behind him as he fixes his mask.
The snow crunching under your feet with every step that you take, you start to walk a bit faster. Hoping to get out the cold faster...
"We're almost there, just around the corner."
"Alright-- right behind you, bunny."
And just as he said, just around the corner, you finally arrived in a nice looking neighborhood.
Well lit, quiet and nice... Man, things I'd do to live in a place like this...
You thought as you looked around, walking with Frank.

Walking onto his doorstep,
"We're here."
Unlocking the door, he let's you in first.
Taking off your jacket, he hangs it on a coat hanger.
"Thanks..."
You say, rubbing your arms.
Frank lights up the fireplace, looking back at you.
"Come sit, the fire's warm. I'll make us something to drink."
"Thanks, Frank... Means alot to me."
You sat down, your body starting to warm up.

You look towards the kitchen where Frank stood. You watched as he takes off his blazer, loosened his tie and unbuttoned a few buttons.
Woah..

You look towards the fire, feeling warm enough. He hands you a cup, presumably with hot cocoa, sitting down near you. You take a sip of the hot cocoa..
Gosh, that's sweet... It's been awhile since I tasted anything sweet...
"I hope you don't mind hot cocoa..?"
"Huh? Oh, it's fine! It's-- it's just been awhile since I've tasted something sweet..."
You scoff, taking another sip.
"Ah, well... I like sweets, so.."
He sips on his drink,
You play on the rim of your cup, wondering what he'd say next.
"You're sweet too..."
Sitting up straight, you looked towards him.
"What?"
"What?"
You laugh at him, because you clearly heard what he said.
"Im not that sweet, but thanks."
"See? You are sweet."
He smiles at you, as you roll your eyes playfully.

The two of you talked the night away, laughing with each other, and over all just enjoyed eachother's comoany.
You hadn't noticed you had drank all your hot cocoa,
"Oh, looks like I'm out.."
"I'll take it to the sink."
Frank stands up as he takes your cup, going to the kitchen.
Walking behind you, he pets your hair softly. You hum quietly, Cleary enjoyed the physical contact.
That felt pretty nice...

He pets you on his way back, sitting back down again. You look at him, observing his side profile as he flips through the TV channels.
A sharp jawline, pointy ears... May or may not have subtle freckles..! Cute..

You shake your head, snapping out of your thoughts.
Cute..?! The cold really is getting to me...
Frank looks over at you, clearly worried.
"Are you okay? You seem... Preoccupied."
"I'm fine, I just have... Things on my mind."
"Care to tell me about it?"
He rests his arm around the couch, looking more comfortable.
"I won't tell you..! It's... Embarrassing."
You avoid his gaze, as he comes closer to you.
"Oh? Is it really?"
He asked you teasingly.
"Well, all I can say is that head pat felt really good..."
You look at him, your eyes meeting. You could feel yourself starting to get flustered from all this eye contact, but you decided you aren't backing down! Still looking into his eyes, he can definitely tell that you're getting a bit too warm.
"You're blushing."
He says, you could tell he was smirking under that mask.
"I-I'm not blushing! It's just getting a bit w-warm, that's all...!"
You put both your hands on your cheeks, hiding your face from him.

He grabs both of your hands away from your face, you look at him.
His eyes still on yours.
"Don't hide it... I think it's cute."
.......
Whaaaaaaa....
WHAAAAT...
DID HE JUST...!

"I--uh..!"
You stumble on your words, looking for the right words to say. Your cheeks getting more and more warm, as he lets go of you laughing softly.
"Sorry if I made you more flustered, but it really is cute."
"How are you so confident right now?!"
You ask him, wondering where all this confidence came from.
"We're alone in my house... No people around to see me like this, except you."
"Stop it, you...! Making me all flustered and shit..."
You mumble while he laughs at your reaction.

"What's your thoughts on love?"
He suddenly asked, making your body stiff.. You've never really succeeded in the love part of life, but you were that one single friend in your group that always had the best advice for relationships, before being a bounty hunter.
"Why do you ask?"
"Everyone seems to have a different opinion about it, just thought I'd know what your opinion is."
You ponder, thinking of what you truly thought of love.
"Love is... Anything you want it to be."
"How so..?"
You take a breath,
"Well, there are different types of love. It's all up to you what type of love you feel towards a person... Romantic, like a family or a friend."
He nods, opening his mouth.
"Someone said to me, that True love isn't true when they don't love you back... Do you agree..?"
"I don't... Just because it's one sided doesn't mean it isn't true.. True love is when you let them go and be happy with the one who makes them feel loved."
You voice your thoughts out,
"But doesn't it hurt to let go?"
You smile bitterly at him,
"What's love without a bit of agony?"

We've been getting close recently... This feels really nice.. To have someone.
"You know, ever since you asked me if I felt... Sorry, for my contracts, I've been feeling a bit conflicted."
"Yeah..? Tell me more.."
He listens to your every word.
"It's not that bad, actually.. There's this quiet voice, in my head that-- that's been bothering me..."
You sighed, trying to change the topic.
The mood is getting a bit too serious...
"I don't know, I can't explain it... Let's just talk about something else.."
"Alright, well... It's getting quite late and the snow is only getting worse... You can spend the night here, I have a spare room."
You blink at him, shocked.
"Sure, I-- I can spend the night... Thanks, bunny..."
You look down on your clothes, covered in snow.
"Do you think I could borrow some clothes from you?"
You chuckled shyly, scratching your neck.
He gets up, going inside his bedroom.
Taking a few minutes, he comes back out with a white tshirt and grey sweatpants.
"These are the only ones I'll think would fit you..."
He gives you the clothes,
"Try it on, while I go and get your room ready."
He leaves you in the living room, going to the spare room.
Where am I supposed to change...? I guess I'll do it fast..
Rushing to get your pants off, you put the sweatpants on. Taking your shirt off, and like every cliché, he walks back out.
Seeing you shirtless...
Ah great..
"Oh! I-- sorry, I forgot to tell you where the bathroom was..."
He looks down on the floor, waiting for you to finish changing.
Putting the shirt over your head,
Everything's a bit loose... It's fine..
You reassure him.
"No, it's fine! I don't really mind... Thanks for everything, Frank."
You smile as he looks back up at you.

He leads you into the room, telling you that he's right next door.
"Just wake me up if you need anything, alright?"
"Alright... Good night, bunny..!"
"Good night, Y/N.."
He pats your head once again, closing the door behind him. Leaving you alone to your thoughts...
It's either he's just too nice or he's messing with me..

No way he was flirting with... Was he?

I'll just sleep on it, I'm getting too tired.

You close your eyes, drifting into sleep... Maybe dreaming of Frank.
