We stayed comfortably like that for an hour until something crossed my mind: his special someone.
"This is inappropriate," I said.
I stood up from the grass. I brushed the back of my skirt to take all the remaining dirt.
Jaehyun, the milky boy, had his luminous eyes closed but upon hearing what I stated, he instantly opened his eyes.
"Huh?" His forehead creased.
I don't want to get myself embarrassed by saying what we're doing is wrong just because we're hanging out and laying down with each other. That's why I'll make it more realistic and convincing. I'm going to settle with a safe answer. He might think I'm to malicious or something.
"What I mean is, Taeyong and your friends might be done now and waiting for us. We should go." I said.
I was about to walk away when Jaehyun's gentle hand registered in my wrist.
"Hold on. Their classes will be completed after 30 minutes. There's no need to rush. Can we stay like this for a while? If you're bored, you can talk to me. I don't eat people." He chuckled, "Or maybe I do."
What the heck? This guy, seriously!
I sighed. Looks like I can't do anything but to stay here with him. I have nowhere to go hence might as well kindle our time here in his secret place.
With a slumped shoulder, I walked towards beside him again. Unlike previously where I was laying down with him, I'm now merely sitting beside him.
What I didn't see coming is when Jaehyun moved his body and rest his head on my lap as if it's a comfortable pillow that has been with him since forever. Bolts of electric and chills race down in my vessels.
His delicate hair gently touching my skin and it's tickling me. All I can do is exasperatedly sigh.
"What's your name again?" He started off looking at my eyes, "Yeah right. Jendeuk."
"Call me Jennie. I'm a lot more comfortable with being addressed as that than Jendeuk."
He grinned. Oh my... his dimples are showing. Seeing him this close in my lap, I feel privileged. This too much for liking.
"But I like calling you Jendeuk. Why not?" He chuckled.
What is so funny about it? He's so eccentric. Weird but unique. There's indeed something enigmatic about him that I want to dig further.
"Don't you really tinker a damn to me to the point that you won't ask for my name?" he asked, gently blinking.
"It's not like that," I shake my head, blushing. "I already know your name, so I don't bother."
