I ran as much as I could, but somehow still could hear them following me. I jumped into the abandoned forest, which was located at the east border of our kingdom.
I am Hwang Y/N, the rightful heir of the Throne of Edinburgh. Well, I've been running all this while because after keeping me like a princess for 17 years my father, a.k.a the King of Edinburgh,decided to marry me off to the Prince of Glaslow and he is the biggest pervert and corrupt-minded person I ever came across to in my life. So, like any typical story I'm running away on the day of my marriage because.. Why not? I want to have a normal life too. A life where I'll be the only one making decisions for my life. But, unfortunately the only man I trusted the most betrayed me and my trust the moment he decided to marry me off to a person who tried to rape me the day we met.
I was 15 years old and Seonghwa ( prince of Glasgow) was 18 years old, when he visited our kingdom with his Parents(the king and queen of Glasgow) for the celebration party of me turning 15. Frankly speaking, he looked like an angel at first, I even started to like him at first.

He acted very sweet towards me when he greeted me. I even remember blushing at his pleasing comment towards me. But as soon as father said us to join the dance floor together, things started to go wrong. He started touching me at all the wrong places he could.
Although I was just a 15 year old, I knew what exactly he was doing or was trying to do at least, so I just pushed him off me and ran away from that place. After that incident, when my father got to know about it instead of getting enraged on the dear son of his best friend, he started yelling at me and told that I was a disappointment and was still a kid. Well, after that incident my mother who was the only one I thought I could trust on this planet saved me from having any further encounters with Seonghwa. But when she passed away six months ago, I knew something bad was about to happen. My father never crossed My mother's wishes and demands. He was deep in love with her , very deep in love. So deep, that I am very sure that he loved her more than me. I mean who does not wants to be her Daddy's Princess huh? But never mind I know that my mother loved me the most.
Getting back to the present situation, I ran into the abandoned forest as I knew that never in a million years they would search this way. I wanted to get away from all of this and start away again even if it meant that I have top live the life of a poor. When the question arises about my father that whether I care for him or not.. Well, I want to live a life where I'm in control of everything I do or is happening around me and if my father could not understand it and still wanted to marry me off, not only will I lose my independence which is so important to me but also my innocence to a monster who was going to be my husband.
As per as my hearing, the abandoned forest was known so because it was the only route which connected our kingdom to our neighbouring kingdom who was also Edinburg's largest enemy. I didn't know the name but I thought if only I can escape this place I would go somewhere far and start off new.
It has been five hours without food or a single drop of water and I was losing my energy. I didn't know where to go so I was just trying to find my way out if the forest somehow.
Suddenly I heard the sound of flowing water nearby. There must be stream here then? I was very thirsty at the moment, I felt like I could faint the next second. So I followed the sound of water and finally got there. It was a beautiful waterfall I never thought existed. I mean how will I know if my 'dear' father had forbidden everyone to enter this forest itself. But, the moment I reached that place, my eyes started feeling heavy and my legs almost gave up and the very next moment when I went to drink water, I fainted and just at the time my legs wholly gave up and I ended up falling into the water. I knew I won't survive. More like I didn't want to survive. I wanted to be with my mother. The only one who actually loved me. __________________________________________
I woke up in an unfamiliar place, is this heaven? Because I know I died. It was painful. I was feeling like I'm breaking from the inside of my body when i fell into that waterfall. But yet I'm here in a room with white walls, actually was white and golden in colour over there. Suddenly, the door opened and a very beautiful looking woman came in. I was totally mesmerized by her beauty. Well, I was still doubting if I was in heaven cuz she looked like an angel.

'Oh you're awake I see' she smiled 'So, here's your clothes, freshen up the washroom is right there. My clothes are lying over there so please don't think it's someone else's room' she said in a hurry. I gave her a confused look. 'Oh, do want to ask something? ' 'Yes, where am I? ' I asked 'Oh, sorry I forgot to tell you. You are in castle of the kingdom of Caledonia' 'Wait, what? '
