I never knew that meeting the head maid would be so nerve wrecking. Yeah I know that it may sound funny to people but for me who has seen the Royal head maids kicking new maids out just for a minor mistake (In her own castle), it was certainly making me nervous. So, right now I was basically all ready wearing the Royal maid's outfit waiting for Tzuyu to come and join me. Soon, she came joined me. 'Sorry for making you wait for long, here I'm done. So, let's go',she said.
I just nodded and turned towards the door when Tzuyu grabbed my shoulders to make me look at her and said, 'Y/n, something is bothering you and I can sense that. So tell me, what's the matter? Why are you ignoring me since the morning? Did I do something?' An evident hurt expression was there on her face. I felt terrible for making her feel like she has done something so I told her, 'Um, actually I'm kind of nervous for meeting the head maid you know. I've heard that Royal head maids are usually very strict so yeah I'm afraid I'll do some mistake and she'll kick me out. ' I was looking down while telling this to her and as soon as I finished talking I looked up, just to find her smiling while trying to hold her laugh. What was so funny in my situation exactly? 'What is so funny in it? 'I said sounding a little offended. She burst out laughing and said , 'You look cute when you're nervous. ' Listening to her words i said, 'What? '. She replied, 'Nothing, well I don't know who told you that the Royal head maids are normally strict but all I know is that Madam Kim is a really kind person. That is why she actually agreed to pay you more. ' Her words made me sigh in relief and somehow comforted me? Well, I think I shouldn't have ignored her for this reason. Talking things out is a better option. She noticed my sudden expression change and asked me , 'So if now you are relieved of your problem, can we proceed? ' I smiled and nodded, ' Yes, after you. 'I said will pointing the way out for her.
As we were walking towards the main castle, i saw the back of a guy who was sitting on a horse and going somewhere out of the castle. He had bows and arrows with him so i sensed something was wrong. I mean, why will someone carry weapons if not for war purposes in this time? So I straightaway asked Tzuyu about it. 'Tzuyu, who is that man in the horse and why is he carrying weapons with him? Is it a war going on somewhere or what? I said. She looked at the direction I was pointing and chuckled. She said, 'Oh my Y/n, you nearly scared me on that one. He is our King, he always goes out for hunting every Friday. It's not some war going on somewhere. ' Wait... People hunted over here? Not any person but the King himself? Although the ruling of our kingdom is cruel but they never hunted for animals. It was something my mother left before leaving. She hated people hunting animals so father never dared to upset her on this one. This was something I acquired from her, I hated hunting of animals, that's why when I heard that the king himself was going out hunting, I became disappointed. I guess Caledonia is not that much of a heaven I thought it to be. Of course, nothing is perfect, there always be a fault even in the most beautiful thing present on the earth. Soon, we reached the kitchen where the head maid was supposed to be at this hour. We entered through the back door because the maids weren't allowed to enter from the main entrance of the castle. There stood an elegant but simple lady probably was probably in her 40s. When her eyes fell on us, she smiled and said, ' Tzuyu, is she the new girl? ' Tzuyu immediately bowed and said, ' Yes, Mrs Kim. This is Y/n' Mrs Kim nodded at her and looked at me. She smiled at me and said, ' Good morning child, I am Kim Mi-kyung, the head maid of the castle.'

I felt pure warmth getting radiated off from her. She reminded me of my mother. I think I should stop getting so attached to everyone I meet because who knows what will it lead me to actually. But, after listening to her words I couldn't help but smile and politely introduce myself to her as well. She already knew about my situation as Tzuyu said but at the same time she told me this thing too that if I do not work sincerely then she will have no choice either but to kick me out. I understood her because of course we are her responsibilities. If we do something, the royalties will question her. She's basically like a parent to all of the maids, I can sense that. Mrs Kim instructed me about everything and showed me around the castle as well. I began working in the ground floor for the day as it was my first day.
The day went by just like that. In the Evening, after finishing my work for the day I was moving towards kitchen to meet Mrs Kim when suddenly I saw a figure from distance walking towards me. I was in the hallway then, the MAIN hallway, so it was the King most probably. I was sure it was the king because I recognised his clothes from afar, it were similar to ones I saw on the King before in the morning. Realization started to kick in and I started panicking do stopped moving and turned towards the wall. A painting was hung in front of me. It was the painting of a beautiful garden. The place showed in the picture was somehow different than any other normal painting. It held secrets and was kind if magical somehow. ______________________
While she was facing the wall wondering about the painting, she didn't realize that he had already passed her. He didn't notice her, even if he did he ignored her assuming her to be a random maid of the castle.
"Although they were apart from each other, they certainly had the same thing in their minds which was, The Garden."
