Chapter 8

Everyone was sliding down the sewer trying to beat the clock of a toxic gas spread around New York, she giggles as held on tight to Donnie as they all rode it like it was a water slide.

They finally make it to the building, busting though the vent.

"Alright listen up we gotta find the elevators and get to the roof." Leo Instructs his brothers "You guys get out of here get to a safe distance" Leo tells the humans and Emma as Donnie puts her down.

"We can go find Sacks and get our hands on the mutagen just in case ... ya know." April didn't wanna say it in front of Emma but the turtles knew what she meant.

"Thanks for the confidence." Raph rolled his eyes sarcastically

"If we don't make it back give the mutagen to Splinter it can save his life." Leo told April

"Sacks laboratory is on the third floor." Donnie types into his computer "I've already disabled the security system."

"You're gonna come back right?" Emma walked up to the turtles as they were about to leave, that all looked at each other not knowing how to answer her question

Finally Leo stepped up

"E-Emma we don't know if we'll come back."

Emma frowned "Pinkie Promise." Holding up her pinkie in the air

"Emma." Leo tries to reason with her but Emma just narrows her eyes even deeper with a pouty lip

Leo finally gave in "I pinky promise." He locked his pinky with hers

"I pinky promise." Donnie joined in

"I pinky promise!" Mikey happily lock his with the others

They all looked at Raph who had his arms crossed, Emma looked at him with pleading look to promise

Raph just sighed as he walked up to them "I pinky promise." Locking his pinky with theirs

Mikey ruffed her hair as the turtles started to leave.

"Come on." April started to run to lab as Emma and Vern followed her.

The three of them finally made it up to the lab looking and scanning for an sigh of the mutagen

April finally spots Vern transfer the mutagen and instructs them to follow her, they finally make it into the lab but before they knew it Sacks shoots a bullet at them.

April quickly pulls Emma close to her so she wouldn't get shot.

He shoots a few more shots

Vern gestured to the fire alarm close by April, she nods understanding she slides Emma off of her mouthing at her 'stay with Vern'

"I understand dead daddy issues I do but you're not gonna stop me!" Vern yells "It's history repeating itself, your father walked in on me April just like you did but it took a little less bullets to shut him up!"

He shoots another round

"You killed my father?" April whispered quickly becoming angry

"And not only you but that little brat has cause me nothing but trouble!" Vern talks about Emma "You May have survived that lab but this time I'm gonna make sure you stay dead." Vern shoots a shot in the air. Emma hugs Verns arm absolutely petrified.

"You're a bad man." Emma whispers "You make me so mad I ... I-I just wanna scream." Emma's turns red with anger as she puffs out her cheeks

Her saying that gave April an idea

"Do Emma." April looks at her nodding "Scream let it all out on that bully."

Emma narrows her eyes nodding, knowing what she had to do

"Vern." April gets the mans attention "You may wanna cover your ears." She covers her as Vern nods covering his.

Emma stands up and walks around the table to Vern with her eyes glowing with anger.

Sacks tried to shoot her but she uses her powers to jam the gun and throws across the room.

She levitates from the floor with burning teal eyes

She takes a deep breath letting out the loudest high pitch scream she ever had, her scream was so high the beakers in the lab shattered.

Sacks got pushes back and crashes though the window landing the next room unconscious

Emma breaths heavy as she lands back on the ground.

"Good Job kid." Vern pats her shoulder "I'll stay till the police come go!"

April screws the mutagen off and carries it in her hands "Come on Emma!" She runs to the roof as Emma follows her.
