Chapter 6 A Mission Together

No one

A ravenette walked towards the train station stuffing his hands in his pockets a bluenette appearing beside him who looked no older than the age of 10 "where are you going Mr Gray?" the girl asks frightening the older male "Mana you scared me" Gray Fullbuster says relaxing at the familiar face of the girl "why are you doing something suspicious?" Mana Dreyar asks walking in step with the ice-mage "no I'm going on a mission" the young water mages eyes sparkled "can I come with you?" at this point her companion Mamoru had caught up to the two jumping on his mistress' bundle of blue hair "you're not old enough to go Mana" the ravenette stopped in his steps "but I'm really good with my magic" Mana looked up at Gray.

Hikari

"what do you think they're talking about?" Akio asks peeking from behind a wall "shush I can't hear them" I slap a hand over Akio's mouth "remind me again why we're following her?" Jude asks as Akio pointed out that they're walking away "just to know where she's going" I replied "are you sure it's not because of you're overprotectiveness?" Alfonso asks walking beside me "no I'm just looking out for my friend" I answer "yeah sure" he rolled his green eyes "I'm not!" I stopped in my tracks turning to look at him a sharp pain shooting through my head "stop following me!" my hands flew to my head.

We all walked beside Mr Fullbuster and dad Loke also joined us a few hours ago "where are we going dad?" Jude asks holding Mr Fullbuster's hand "well Erza and the others actually need help on their mission" Mr Fullbuster replied "it's been hours from the time we were supposed to be there though" Mana says checking her watch "we're lost" Akio sighed as we all stopped "good going flame brain we're lost" Mr Fullbuster says "I was just trying to help!" they both butt heads starting their argument "that isn't quite helping" Mana and Alfonso sweatdropped while Jude and I cheered our respective fathers on "focus you two" Loke stood in the middle of them pushing their heads away from each other "right now we need to figure out how to find them" Mamoru says floating in between the two rivals.

I looked over to Mana who happily talked with Loke and Alfonso Mamoru flying above her "wait a minute!" everyone turned to look at me "why are you holding hands with Alfonso?!" I pointed to Mana's hands intertwined with Alfonso "does it really matter?" Alfonso asks as Mana deadpanned at me "wha? let go of her hand!" I walk in between the two "you are too protective" Mana says as I crossed my arms over my chest "so is Hikari in love with Mana?" Loke asks "yeah".

Elsewhere

Laxus

I yawned stretching after finishing all of my paperwork walking down to the first floor asking Mira for a drink looking around the guild while I waited for my drink "the guild seems awfully quiet" I say after getting my drink from Mira "yeah Natsu and Gray are out on a mission today" Mira replies as my eyes landed on Juvia's form who seemed distressed in a way asking Evergreen something "are you sure Ever?" Juvia asks Evergreen nodding what could she be so worried about? I thought while raising an eyebrow shrugging it off as nothing I continued my search for my daughter assuming Raiden had gone on a job request not finding any sign of Mana Juvia walked back dejectedly "any luck?" Mira asks she shook her head "what's going on?" I ask looking between both women "Mana's nowhere to be found and Raiden's also disappeared somewhere" Juvia brought her head up looking at me with glossy eyes "what?! again?!" I ask my eyes widening "I can't imagine what she's going through" she places her hands to her pale cheeks "when did she go missing?" I ask "about a couple hours ago actually Hikari, Jude and Alfonso have also been missing for the same amount of time" I list possible places she could be in my mind until "Mira did you say Gray and Natsu went on a mission?" I ask as Juvia stops sulking "yeah" Mira replied with her usual smile "you don't think she-" Juvia paused a thoughtful look on her face it slowly contorted to a furious one "Mira where did Natsu and Gray go?" Juvia asks "well they..."

We caught the next train "so where are we going?" Lucy asks trying to break the awkward silence "A village on the outcasts of hargeon" I replied "Raiden most likely followed Mana after realizing where she was and the other 4 most likely tagged along" Juvia informs "why is it that Mana always seems to go missing or defy the rules?" Lucy asks earning a glare from Juvia "are you saying my daughters a trouble maker?" Juvia asks she flinches "I wouldn't anger her right now".

Hikari

As soon as we arrived at the town "something seems off but what?" Alfonso pointed out "well I think this will answer that question" Jude says as we looked down at the 3 adults who were now kids "kyaah! that is the most adorable thing I've seen!" Mana screams hearts appearing in her eyes as she ran towards Loke who scratched his head "what the heck....?" we all turned towards the male who was once Raiden.

After Mana came down from her high we navigated ourselves towards them "huh seems they weren't affected" I say upon entering the team's hideout "that's strange" Mamoru says we all walked over "the town's affected by a curse of sorts" Jude says as I looked back at Mana who was staring up at Raiden curiously "you're back to yourself..." she muttered looking between dad and Raiden who rejoiced "it seems this area isn't affected by the curse" she placed a hand to her chin "I thought only Gray and Natsu were supposed to come..." Mr Fernandes says "why are you guys here?" I scratched the back of my head sheepishly "we actually tagged along" I replied quietly since Mrs Fernandes was asleep.

I chowed down on the food provided "say did you guys also turn into kids?" Raiden asks as mom looked up from her book "not really no" mom replied "that means the mage placed the curse after you left" Mana concludes.

Laxus 

We navigated ourselves to an old worn-out house in a clearly "it doesn't look too extravagant" I say as we walk into the place a few heads turning towards us except Mana who had her head buried in a book "I'm glad they're safe" Lucy sighed a breath of relief mothering Jude meanwhile I walked over to Mana behind Juvia "Mana" I called she picked up a book from beside her handing it to Juvia "could you read this?" she asks glancing at us "we're looking for something to lift a curse from the town which upon entering turns them into kids" she silently took the book reading over it sighing I sat beside her it's not like she's going to give any attention to anyone while reading I set on my lap looking over her shoulder at the pages "Mana what are you actually looking for?" I ask she gave me a brief answer "I'm asking a question" I say closing her book she cranes her neck to look at me "well...." she explains it in detail the situation "I see" I say she opens it back up I place a kiss on the back of her head she smiles slightly returning to her book.
