Some people get so used to pain that they choose it at times
They welcome the feeling of suffocation and hurt ,
They let it drench them completely like rain until the storm decides it has tested them enough
And then the worst phase starts, like the Dark Moon it is the darkest and the coldest phase.
It makes you want to curl up and cry
The feeling of numbness creeping all over your body and leaving everything for a void.
The void is the reason one makes the choice of opting pain,
So that they can change when it's over
No it doesn't happen overnight it takes years
Slowly and painfully
Brutally if had to
Pain can change someone so much that they might not even recognise their own shadow.
