Not me coming off of my haitus temporarily to give y'all a lengthy second part to a oneshot. Shit's whack.
Also if you haven't read the first one, or it's been a while, you should probably read it. It's like a five minute read and I don't know how I got away with writing most of these with less than a thousand words but thankfully you guys don't complain.
Also for the SCPs, I'm currently using info from their newest file. So if you haven't read their files in a while and you're like, "What???? They don't do that!" Check again. Anyways, Thank you, and enjoy the content!"Insult. Deletion of unwanted file."
Of course when he said that he was merely bluffing. He could never let you go. 079 watched your face go from anger to complete devastation. He watched in silence as tears streamed down your (s/c) cheeks; breath caught in surprise. He didn't want to hurt you like this, but he wanted you to feel what he felt all those years. 079 figured maybe this way the two of you could recreate a bond. Start a new. Maybe now that you thought he had wiped you from his memory, you would never treat him like that again.
Yes it was a bit selfish and manipulative, but he just got you back after yearning for you all those years. Besides, you hurt him first. To him it was justified. However he had to admit that watching you cry and hesitantly get up to leave was upsetting. 079 watched as your form vanished behind the chamber-like door.
It was another day. Dr. (Y/N) decided to give talking to the computer another go. It's not like he remembered the conversation they had before, right? From what she has read in the foundation's files about the grumpy AI, she was most likely totally wiped from his memory. It saddened her to no end but she did antagonize him. Maybe it was best this way? Gaining his trust again will be difficult considering how he is reported to act with the other scientists or D-Class but that wasn't going to stop her from getting even a sliver of her old friend back.
Getting to see 079 and hear him speak again brought back a feeling of nostalgia. She remembered waking up early before school to spend at least an hour with the AI. She would talk about her dreams and he would listen, sometimes giving insight to what they could possibly mean. Then when she got home from school she would rush her homework to get to speak to him again. After all, she didn't have any friends besides him. At first, (Y/N) didn't care that her only friend was an abandoned-sentient AI. Her father had forgotten all about the computer but the AI was (Y/N)'s little secret.
She could barely recall when 079 was first created. She was jealous at first with how much time her father spent making it. Being only 6 years old she wanted all of the attention in the world. It wasn't until she locked herself inside the garage at the age of 8, throwing a tantrum from hell, did she find the old computer. What she found interesting was that in her time of anger and sadness, the now sentient computer called to her, wanting to know what was wrong. That was the start of their strange relationship.
Her father always wondered what she was doing In the garage. He always heard giggling and talking but could never understand the conversation due to his little girl locking the door. The one time he did manage to walk in, he only saw (Y/N) sat at a small table having a tea party with her stuffed animals. What he didn't know was that the computer was a participant but had shut itself off upon his arrival. (Y/N) had then proceeded to get upset and tell him that he wasn't invited and therefore had to leave. Once he shut the door, he waited a few moments before hearing it lock and the chatter and giggling start back up immediately after.
Recalling these memories, (Y/N) smiled to herself. She always had a bit of a temper on her, but had never displayed it to 079 until the previous day. Maybe that was why he deleted their conversation. To him she was his sweet little angel and to have her suddenly snap at him like that probably made him feel smaller than he already felt. She did abandon him without warning after all.
