Bryce's POV
I was getting ready for Addison and my's wedding anniversary, and I couldn't be happier! Addison is the best wife ever! I'm about to call Addison, and ask when she gonna get here, when the door opens, and this girl that I don't recognize comes in.
Eliza: Bryce, right?
Bryce: Ya. And you are?
Eliza: Eliza, my dad works with your dad.
Bryce: Nice to meet you.
Eliza: I'm actually here to make a proposition.
Bryce: Ok?
Eliza: Your dad has this huge business deal with my dad, and my dad has the power to pull the plug on it.
Bryce: Where do I come into this?
Eliza: Pretend I'm your girlfriend.
Bryce: I'm married. In fact, today is my wedding anniversary.
Eliza: Who do you care about more? Your wife, or your girlfriend?
Bryce: That's an unfair question.
Eliza: Make up your mind. Now!
Bryce; I guess... my dad.
Eliza: Great! We'll start now.
Bryce: Huh?
Bryce's POV
Eliza starts making out with me, and I'm not allowed to fight it, which is the worst part. Then that's when Addison walks in. Eliza acts all scared, but I know it's just an act. But once again, even though seeing Addison like this is breaking me, I have to be on Eliza's side. Addison finally walks out, so I can break the act.
Bryce: What the fuck was that?!!
Eliza: I was being your girlfriend. Is the sea off?
Bryce: No! I need air.
Eliza: Don't take to long!
Bryce's POV
I head to Josh's house, because the other boys were supposed to meet there, so they'll all be there.
At Josh's house
Josh: Hey Bryce! We heard about Addison. Sorry.
Bryce: Ya, about that, I need to tell you guys something.
Anthony: Sure.
Bryce: But don't tell the girls.
Nessa: Don't tell us what?
Avani: We already know what you did.
Bryce: It's not what you think.
Nessa: Addison told us everything!
Avani slaps me (Bryce)
Bryce: Ow!
Avani: We're going to Mads' house where us, and the other girls will be comforting Addison, who just got her heart broken by a guy that we USED to be best friends with.
Bryce: Let me explain!
Nessa: No! You betrayed Addison! On your guy's wedding anniversary!
Josh: She's right. That's kind of messed up.
Avani: We'll see two of you later. And to be clear, we'll see the two who didn't cheat on our best friend, who's like a sister.
The girls leave
Anthony: This better be good.
Josh: Ya, if you don't have a good reason, then we're still your best friend, but we're not on your side.
Bryce: Eliza's dad made this business deal with my dad, and apparently it's huge. But the thing is, Eliza's dad can pull the plug on the deal, which could cause my dad to lose a lot of money. Eliza said that if we pretend to be a couple, her dad won't pull the plug.
Anthony: What's that movie the girls like? It's also a book series.
Josh: TATBILB! Well that's the short form. Bryce, you're Laura Jean.
Josh and Anthony laugh
Bryce: Shut up! This is serious! Addison is the love of my life! I don't know what to do.
