Prince Louis's POV

As soon as I got to Riverview castle I regretted ever agreeing to come. Right away King Gerard's daughters almost tackled me. Gerard was a cool guy. My dad and him had been friends since they were young. The only thing that bothered me were his daughters.

No matter how many times I told them that I wasn't into girls they wouldn't listen.

Don't get me wrong girls are cool but I just liked guys better.

"Girls, leave Louis alone. Come here boy, it's time you learned a thing or two about your future ally." King Gerard said.

The cool thing about him was that he somehow knew when I was uncomfortable.

My father and I walked to his garden and king Gerard began talking.

"It has always been my dream to have my daughters marry off into a good family. And I was thinking that to make our alliance even stronger we could bond with something stronger than just a friendship." He said.

"You see son, marriage has always been the way to unite two kingdoms. You are always so respectful to Gerard's daughters and we were thinking that it was time to make that bond. " my father said.

"Dad, are you saying you want me to marry one of the princesses?" I asked in disbelief.

"Well, not right now. Obviously but eventually, yes." He said.

"Dad no!" I exclaimed.

Why did he always do this? Make decisions for me?

"Son, if it makes you uncomfortable we can postpone it." King Gerard said.

"Yes, I need time." I responded quickly.

"Well that's settled, now I know you have a long way back so why do it on an empty stomach? I say we eat!" He said.

My father looked at me a bit questioning.

I smiled sheepishly and followed king Gerard.

(Short I know but yeah. I'll write longer updates soon. Third person POV is easier so imma stick to that.)
