Harry's POV
Rather than go straight to my room to pack, I looked for Lilith to tell her what had happened. It didn't take long because she was also looking for me.
Lilith was a very attractive woman, she had full pink lips, large brown eyes, and flawless skin and hair, which she kept tied in a bun to avoid getting hair in the food. She kept to the kitchens most of the time, running small errands and getting paid very little.
"Harry! What happened? I went to give the prince his shirt and he was laughing. His shirt had grape juice! Then a moment ago I was told I had a new job, your job. What's happened?" She asked quickly.
"Well, I spilt grape juice on him and well, it's a long story. Come to my room, I need to do some stuff anyway." I said.
We reached my room and I started telling her what had happened as I packed. She looked at me in disbelief as told her about the meal.
"And now he wants me to move in the rooms next to his." I said finally, packing the last of my things.
"But...what would you do? Why?" she asked.
"I suppose he simply wants a friend. Although it seems wrong since I'm like a hired friend." I responded.
She looked at me oddly.
"On the bright side you get a better job. With better pay!" I added.
She smiled. Ever since her father died she all but supported her family. She didn't earn enough to keep herself and three others afloat but with this new position, she and her family wouldn't know what its like to be hungry again.
"It's just, I was afraid you had been fired. You're my best friend and I was just so scared." she admitted.
I smiled and hugged her.
"I'm going to be here for some more time. You can't get rid of me that easily." I assured her.
"Cheeky bastard."
