"GOOD MORNING UEKI," WAS WHAT HE MUMBLED AS SHE PASSED, HER CHEEKS SEARING A BRIGHT RED. Her chest against his as she cried, the alley concealing them from unwanted gazes— that was all she could think about since the day before. Her cheeks burned an even brighter red as she gripped her bag strap. Their eyes meeting and lips getting closer. (y/n) shook her head back and forth as she sat in her seat, her arms crossed in front of her head. Their lips clashing together in a mix of emotion.
She must've seemed desperate.
A groan left her chapped lips, a brunette looking to her worriedly. "Ueki? Are you okay?" asked Uraraka with a poke. The girl squeaked in her seat and flailed, her chair tilting backward. Just as she was about to fall back, a hand caught the back of her chair. Ueki turned to find her savior, words of gratitude gracing her lips. She found Sero standing before her, a bright red tint coating the bridge of his nose and cheeks. Another squeak left her lips and she turned back to face the board, Uraraka looking between them both in thought. Then it hit her.
"Did something happen between you two?-" A smooth hand slapped itself against Uraraka's lips, confirming the brunette's thoughts. With a hand still firm against her mouth, Uraraka dragged the girl out the door with a hidden grin. "Spill!" whispered the bubbly girl, removing (y/n)'s hand from her lips. "N-nothing happened!" stuttered out Ueki, hiding her reddening face with her hands. Uraraka hummed softly as she looked to the taller girl with knowing eyes. (y/n) bit her lip as her mind ran over the details of what had happened the day before.
"Well, w-we may have kissed-" "REALLY?!"
(y/n) placed a finger over her own lips, signaling the other girl to be quiet. Uraraka followed orders, her face remaining giddy. "Yes. Nothing more, nothing less." You're such a bad liar, (y/n). Ueki let out an inaudible sigh, "we should get back before Aizawa sees us." Uraraka looked to the girl before her once more. With a scrunched brow she looked for a sign of something more in the (h/c)-haired girl's body language. Slouched shoulders, longing eyes, and a tapping foot— there was more to the story. "Are you-" "Okay, so I may have gone further!"
Uraraka's eyes lit up at the sentence, grabbing the girl's hands tightly. "Did you guys make out?"(y/n)'s eyes averted the bright girl before her as she bit her lip once more. "Maybe?" A squeal left the brunette's lips as she jumped up and down. Uraraka grinned and stared into Ueki's eyes with excitement. At the look of uncertainty and lack of confidence in (y/n)'s eyes, Uraraka smiled. "I will help you get together, mark my words!"
The sudden sliding of the doors next to them made (y/n) gape in fear. What if it was him— she stopped herself short at the sight of Mina and some other girl's who she was, at most, acquainted with. "We heard and we are also here to help," Mina declared with a toothy grin. "Sero and you look cute together, after all, kero." Tears gathered at the corner of the girl's eyes as she smiled.
"Thanks, you guys!"

Sero's head hit his desk for the millionth time that minute as he sat at his usual table. "Bro, are you sure you're okay?" asked Kirishima, placing his chopsticks down to comfort his friend. "What's his deal?" grumbled Bakugo as he ate his spicy udon, eyes narrowing at the sight of Sero. "He made out with Ueki and now he doesn't now how to confront her," stated Kaminari through bites of his own food. Sero groaned at the statement and hit his head onto the table once more. "It's gonna be so awkward when she comes to sit with us! What do I do?" the raven-haired boy complained as hid his head with his arms. Bakugo looked behind him in confusion; why did Sero even care?
"You have no fucking reason to worry when notepad over there is eating far away from us."
Kaminari choked at the sight of Ueki chatting with all the girl's in their class— especially since they were on the other side of the room. Sero looked up slowly to see the smile on her face only to smile back. "She's so cute-" "Don't you see what she's doing, dumbass?" All three boys looked to Bakugo in confusion. "What do you mean Bakubro?" The ash-blond sighed, "you guys are such idiots." Sero sat up straighter at the sound of Bakugo's angered tone.
"She's avoiding you."

"Deku, is it working?" "What is?" Uraraka groaned at the freckled boy's ignorance. Mina sighed and took the phone from Uraraka's hands as Ueki fiddled with the food in front of her. "What did Bakugo say?" asked Mina with a deadpan. "Who's that- oh, wait! You mean Kacchan!" The girls went silent as Midoriya laughed over the line. "Midoriya." The boy took a sharp breath at the sound of Uraraka's voice before answering, "he said, 'she's avoiding you'." Mina let out a cackle as she hung up, the girls cheering alongside her. Across the room, Midoriya stared blankly at his food as Iida and Todoroki comforted him— Uraraka could really be intimidating when she wanted to.
Ueki continued to poke at her food and sighed, "is this really a good idea?" "I'm sure it will work," encouraged Momo with a kind smile. "It's worked for a lot of people before; well, not for Hagakure at least..." Jiro trailed off, leaving Hagukure to puff out her ever-so-slightly visible cheeks in frustration. "We don't talk about that," she began, "plus, Ojiro and I did end up together! It just took a little bit longer..." They all chuckled as Hagakure fidgeted with her hair. "Either way, we're sure you two will get together," consoled Tsuyu. Ueki smiled as she finally took a bite of her food.
"YOU GUYS REALLY ARE THE SWEETEST!"
