EHT TAC SI REVO EHT ECNEF ( THE CAT IS OVER THE FENCE). When I started middle school, my teacher thought I had a learning disability, so she taught me to read words backwards, which I guess is kind of cool. I went to school for most of my life, but then I was homeschooled, after the "incident". Homeschooling was one of those things that I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I liked it at first, because I got to sleep in, and eat whenever I wanted. It was bad though, because I REALLY missed my friends.
My friends are the most important things in my life. Without my friends, I would be a pile of slime on the ground. They (and my parent's) like me for who I am, not my disability.
I have three best friends. Savanna, Calin, and Sara. Savanna is great. She loves sports, and if she doesn't win, well, we won't go there because she can be a little bit scary. Next in line is Calin. Even though he is a guy, he is still fun. We call Calin the "Nerd" of the group because he gets really good grades. Next, is Sara. Sara is so fun to spend time with because she is a really good artist. Whenever Sara comes over to my house, we make pottery, and mine looks, well, pretty terrible, but then I look over at Sara's pottery and she sculpted pots and painted it so it looks like Disney Princesses. She gave me the collection that she made, and so now I have Rapunzel, Jasmine, Merida, Cinderella, Snow White, Tiana, Brier Rose, Mulan, Ariel, and Pocahontas. She is so talented, and yet she insists that she is not good enough. She is also going to school to be a hairstylist. I always let her practice on me. Calin always helps me study for tests, and he tutors me since I am failing math right now. Savannah and I always have indoor races and games, and I always let her win for the fun of it.
I text them all every night. Here is what the texts normally read:
Sara: I just made this pot!
Charitie: OMG! THAT'S AMAZING SARA!
Sara: Come on! It's not even that good! In fact... you can have it Charitie!
Faith: That's so pretty!
Hope: You made that?
Calin: Stop texting me! I'm studying!
Savanna: Come on, Calin! We are just having FUN!
Calin: You all should be studying too! We have an exam tomorrow!
Savanna: Whatever you say :)
Charitie: Good night Calin!
Sara: Good night guys!
Hope: It's only 6:30!Faith: Leave them alone!
Savanna: Good night!
Charitie: C U L8R guys! :)
Calin: The amount of spelling and grammatical errors in these messages are uncountable. Can you please let me study?
ALL: GOODBYE CALIN
Anyway, after I text Calin, Savannah, and Sara, I normally go sit in my room, and listen to music.
Music is my life. If the president took away music, there would be so many people
● Career-less
● Family-less
● Money-less
● Teacher-less
● Etcetera
You get the idea. I love music so much because it is my way of telling the world I am better than it. My favorite type of music is-
"CHARITIE!" That was mom calling me.
"Is it time for PT?" I asked
"You know it is, as much as you hate physical therapy, you must go. Come on." Mom replied
************************************
I hate PT (physical therapy). It is the worst. Every time I go, the doctor is like
"How are you feeling Charitie? Are you feeling better? Ready to try something new?" He talks to me like I'm either 4 years old, or 80 years old.
My doctor's name is Dr. Schmoody. He told me that he changed his name so he could be a children's doctor, which I think is just plain weird. Who would change their name legally so they could get kids to like them?
Anyway, YM MOM SI NI YM MOOR DNA EHS SI GNIVIRD EM YZARC YHW T'NOW EHS POTS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! (MY MOM IS IN MY ROOM AND SHE'S DRIVING ME CRAZY WHY WON'T SHE STOP?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!)
She went into my room to tell me that I did good at therapy today, but I already knew that. In my opinion, people shouldn't come in your room unless they are bringing you food. Seriously, take it from a paralyzed person: It is a pain (Literally) walking up and down the stairs 24/7.
My room is set up to be a place of love. When you first walk into my room, the bed is next to my door. In one corner, there are a bunch of machines, like for my legs and stuff. In another corner, there is all my musical stuff like my ukulele, piccolo, flute, guitar, and music for choir. In the other corner of my room, I have a blow up couch, which is a couch that blows up.( No, DUH) Next to my window, I have a window seat. The walls of my room are mint green and light gray. I am kind of an organization freak, and so my room is always clean.
I just realized that all this time, I never gave a real visual of my family and friends. Savanna is the queen of sports. She loves sports more than anything. Sara is a really great artist and is studying to be a hairstylist. She is SOOOOOOO pretty. I get jealous of her being pretty sometimes. Calin is a nerd, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. He is really good for helping me study, and he tutors me in math because math is my worst subject.
My sisters are complete opposites. Hope is kind of self-involved, but she is really good at makeup. Faith is so nice, and she always makes time for me.
People always think that I am older than Faith and Hope because I dress like a high schooler. My sisters are very different from me. Hope loves herself, her boyfriend, and her phone. Faith is the nicest person I know, and got married on her birthday, which is May 30th. I am into music, they are not.
There you go, for anyone who was wondering, that is my family and friends. The picture of me was taken a few years ago, which is why I'm not in a wheelchair. The pictures of all of us were taken when we went to London, England on vacation.
My family LOVES to go on vacation. WE have been to almost everywhere in the world. When we went to Australia, we saw real koala bears!
My favorite place that we have ever visited was when we went to Africa. The entire time I was in Africa, my dad kept singing ''Africa,'' by Toto. It was my first vacation after my injury, and Dad was the only thing fun about my trip. I couldn't do very much during the trip.
