Paying for the crimes of her father, Kleo is given a chance to prove herself to the benevolent prince of the United States of Auradon, and his kingdom, that she is nothing like her father and that she is worthy of a grandiose life in Auradon. Ready to decline his offer, her father urges her to accept the invitation, saying that this was a perfect opportunity for her to infiltrate the kingdom and to grant her family back their royal title.
ButKleo wasn't the only one chosen. Four other children her age have been chosen as well―the daughter of Maleficent, the son of Jafar, the daughter of the Evil Queen, and the son of Cruella De Vil. And with the five descendants' departure, Maleficent has given them a very simple and important task: steal the Fairy Godmother's wand.

to let anyone new to my books know, this is a rewrite/reimagine of my book caged on my main account aceofpuns. I got inspiration from beyoncé's Black Is King movie, a reimagining of the lion king that I highly recommend. I also took the time to read books from the descendants book series by Melissa De La Cruz, to learn more about the VKs, and come to the conclusion that some things (and people) in descendants is very problematic. also Kleo will not be all the same person, this is a reimagine of her character. plus, I'm also not happy with some things in my original book caged.
