"Reina we have to attack now!" Rin slammed a fist on the hotel's wall, slightly cracking it.
"I agree with Rin, most of their S-Class members are on missions" Rin's sister, Misaki, joined the conversation.
"Laxus and his team is gone, Erza left with Wendy, Gajeel left with Shadow Gear, the Strauss siblings travelled, Reina they are practically leaving themselves open!"
The blonde shut her eye in annoyance; her body positioned the chair of the desk. She is sick and tired of hearing the sister's constant rambling and suggestions. Misaki may be smart but she of all people should know that Fairy Tail is unpredictable. Those strong members can come back from their missions anytime.
"Reina open your goddamn eyes, or have you gone soft?"
In the blink of an eye, Rin is slammed against the wall with Reina having a hold on her neck. The blonde bared her teeth, revealing the famous Dragon Slayer fangs. Her nails dug deep into the skin of her neck, causing blood to appear.
"I swear Rin, I will kill you first" She said, her entire demeanour clearly showing that what she had said would be true.
The blonde slammed her against the wall once more before releasing her grip. The brunette collapsed on the floor, desperately trying to catch her breath.
"So...then why...don't we...attack" Rin whispered in between breaths.
"YOUR STUPIDITY IS THE REASON WHY LYRA IS FAR STRONGER THAN YOU ARE" She exclaimed, "Those members are unpredictable, they can come back from their missions any time"
Reina rubbed her temples in annoyance, those shining blue eyes closed shut.
'Mira Jane Strauss hasn't been on a mission for so long, so why now? Erza had travelled with Team Natsu for quite a while, why change now? Gajeel would kill Jet and Droy before they had the chance to return so why did he leave in the first place? Laxus...Well that might just be a coincidence. The strongest members of Fairy Tail leaving simultaneously may just be a coincidence that is too good to be true. They are on to us' Reina thought, a light bulb practically turning on above her head.
"What's wrong Lyra chan?" Natsu whispered, utter concern clear in his voice.
The female's head lay on the wooden table, blonde locks sprawled all over. Her face is unseen due to the hair, resulting in her group of friends to be in the dark of her current emotion. But by her posture, it is clear that something is out of place.
"Maybe she's on her period" Lucy mumbled, no intentions of insult of course.
"Lyra chan just finished her period" Natsu responded, completely oblivious to the fact of how disturbing it is for him to know her monthly pains.
The blonde felt her cheeks heat up in embarrassment. Even with the urge to slap the pink-head, she remained unmoved.
"Natsu that is not something you simply say" Gray said with gritted teeth, his chin resting on the palm of his hands.
The ice-make wizard glared at his nemesis, hoping to spark a brawl. Surprisingly, the dragon slayer was far too busy to even notice this glare. His entire attention is currently focused on his upset mate. The grip he had on her left hand tightened, hoping to lift her mood.
"G-G-Gajeel..." The blonde muttered, her eyelids squeezing tight.
"He left on a mission with Levy" Lucy stated, her fingernails lightly tracing her guild mark.
She loved the little pink mark, it resembled a family. The caring, loyal, and generous family that she dreamt to have for so long. Fairy Tail has been through so much with them, yet they miraculously stick together. Despite the fighting, the arguing, and the competitions, they all consider each other family. But a few members know something is coming, they can practically feel it. Not exactly the way of Carla's clairvoyance, they did not see the future. But with the incidents that have happened in the last few weeks, the dots have been connected. Gajeel and Erza were the first to realize the upcoming event, such intelligent and cautious mind they have. It is no shock that the duo is one of the strongest mages in Fairy Tail.
"What about Erza...Laxus..." Lyra whispered her tone so quiet Lucy barely heard.
"Mission"
The blonde groaned, her finger untangling from Natsu's. His obsidian irises stared down on their separated hands, wondering on why she had done that.
"Why do you want to know where your 'so-called-brother' is" Natsu asked with a roll of his eyes.
She finally lifted her head off the table, the messy blonde locks covering her face. The pink haired slayer decided to help his mate with this problem. His hand gently ran his hand through her scalp, the hair moving back as a result of this action.
"Something seems wrong..."
Sighing, Natsu gently shut the door and leaned his back on the wood. He crossed his arms over his bare chest, those dark eyes staring at the blonde. She walked over to the sofa, plopping down with a loud groan.
"What is that 'something', Lyra-chan?"
The seriousness is clear on his face, no hints of jokingness anywhere. This does not seem like the usual Natsu Dragneel, but she knew better. He is simply worried, it shows that he truly cares.
"That's the thing Natsu, I don't know what that 'something' is" Lyra sighed, making herself comfortable on the sofa.
He pushed his body off the door, slowly making his way to his mate; his stressed mate. With a simple kiss on her lips, she felt relief wash over her. The worries escaped her mind, the only thing she could think of is to make the pink haired male happy.
