Chapter 13

Yuna's POV:
I was scrolling pointlessly on the internet .... it was my routine to just go to practice and then come home and keep my mind distracted from my life by dancing or watching YouTube .... I saw a video titled "sad boy dancing amazingly to a breakup song"

I clicked on even if I saw the thumbnail was about Kai ...... I don't know why......
And I saw the video.... he was dancing in the most flawless way, his moves were on point and so were his expressions....
He cried. Tears fell from his eyes after the video. That's wasn't even the most shocking thing. I saw myself there. In the background. Leaving the park. At the end of the video, he looks at my direction but I already left.
My hands start shaking again as I remembered what he said. He said he is going forever. I feel my heart beating faster and faster. My stomach felt like it dropped 50 feet at once. He knew I was there. He didn't approach me .

Life went on for everyone. Days became weeks , weeks became months.
Yuna and Ryujin were casted in a group with their friends .
Itzy!
It consisted of Yuna , Ryujin, Yeji , Lia and Chaeryong.

Kai on the other hand was also casted with his hyungs.

It consisted of Kai , Yeonjun , Beomgyu , Taehyun and Soobin.

Kai's POV :
Soobin? My heart dropped just hearing that name. Yuna. Her ex-crush. Soobin.
I can't let him know about me and Yuna .... I feel happy for him .... he didn't get heartbroken by her....
I will not let Yuna stand between my friendships..... who knows he could be my best friend ..... I won't tell him about Yuna...

Kai was right . Soobin and Kai became fast friends as time passed. They shared everything with one another , Kai became happier after he met txt , he started forgetting about Yuna and he focused on his career , family and most importantly his happiness.

On the other hand Yuna was struggling with her life at this time. She was going to debut in a month and the preparations were going very smooth until she came to know Kai will be debuting too , soon after her . That meant she would have to face him at some point , they would meet at award shows and competitions. She couldn't get it out of her head that when she debuts , Kai would be able to see her again , she would be able to see Kai again , it scared her. She was scared. She had recovered from her initial shock but she was left with a trauma .... a trauma of Kai . Her trainee life was going smoothly though , her vocals and dance were on track and she was being praised for being a good idol from a very young age. She would debut at the age of only 15.....

The day was here .... Yuna was debuting along with itzy with 'Dalla Dalla' .
The music video was revealed and it was blowing up instantly....
she was happy... she finally achieved her dream of becoming an idol after training hard for so many years.
She was happy seeing her sister and her friends happy too , she got so much praise and love , she was on top of the world . Her heart was at so much ease after seeing her fans cheer for her. She found something that makes her calm.

Someone else she knew wasn't on top of the world after seeing her. Kai. His heart dropped to the ground after seeing her . Her music video along with her group. His whole body got hit with a wave of sadness , he remembered the time where he shared all his emotions to her , she would always cheer him up and her she is today being the cause of his sadness. It happened every time. Every time Kai saw Yuna , he would become sad , so sad the he would not be able to focus on anything else until his mind was clear. He would be depressed whenever he saw her.

After a month Kai debuted in the industry. Along with his hyungs . His best friends.
Kai debuted with txt with 'crown' that also was a huge hit and gained immediate attention because they were bts's juniors .
He was happy too. He felt like he had finally found what makes him happy. Performing on stage made him so happy , seeing his fans cheer him on and seeing his hyungs happy with him made him very happy. He had found his happiness.
