Chapter 21

The next day Yuna asked Kai to meet her at her hotel. He agreed and reached Yuna's room.

"Hiiiii" Kai said excited , with a big smile on his face.
"Hellllooooo" Yuna said , with a equally big smile in her face.
"What happened ? Why did you call me here? If you wanted to meet we could have gone out.....?"
"Well I need to tell you something ...." Yuna said , the smile slowly disappearing from her face.

"What's wrong?"
"We ..... we need to break up..."
"What?!"
"Don't get me wrong ! I still like you but my company has a 3 year dating ban and if anyone sees us outside on our own we will be headlines in newspapers and it will negatively affect both of our groups and the members... we are still rookies .... we should focus on our careers..... I will tell jyp that we will dater after 2 years and you tell BigHit too.... it's good for both of us.... besides , there's nothing to be sad for.... we will still meet and talk so it's going to be fine..."
"But I was so excited ....we just got together ...." Kai said softly with a sad smile on his face.
"I know....I'm disappointed too but it's for the best..."

Yuna slowly moved towards Kai and hugged him. He hugged her back burying her head in his jacket . The let out a sigh.
"So these are going to be our dates? At my place or yours every time?"
"Yup I think so...."
"Well it's ok .... I'm fine with it as long as I have you by my side...."
"Mhm... me too"

After a while of playing around and eating a meal together .... Kai left for his hotel. Yuna started packing ... they were leaving the day after tomorrow. Kai met her the next day too .. sad that they would be separated for 2 months now since Itzy were going to Europe for tour... txt was staying in USA for tour.... they bid their goodbyes and Yuna left with Itzy for Europe .... Yuna and Kai missed each other a lot... they kept in touch by texts and phone calls.

After 2 months .. both of their bands were back in Korea. Yuna called Ryujin and asked her to come with her to meet jyp.
At jyp , she told him about Kai , it was hard for her to tell a ceo that she was interested in someone but it was worth it . She said she was going to focus on her career and give it her best .
