♣️Chapter Fifteen: Ideas

Mary POV:

As I walked out the doorway from Midari and Y/N's house, I almost suddenly dropped to the ground, whilst tears streamed down my face. It took everything inside of me to hold it together in front of Midari. I'm trying so damn hard- I thought if you work hard towards your goals- it'll come true... but that's not happening- and it's not fair- I mean, Y/N just came in and deemed Midari as hers! She took ONE day to get to know her before taking her out on a date- it's insane! Nobody builds a connection with somebody THAT fast. I pick myself off the ground and hit myself, hard. I need to pull myself together. I need to come up with a plan, a better one. Something that's almost...a disguise. As I'm walking to my car, I stop dead in my tracks. I got it. 

A gamble.

I jump in my car and stamp my foot hard on the gas pedal. At this point, I'm going way above the speed limit. I need to go home. I need to plan this. It's my last chance...

I pull up to my driveway and run eagerly into my room, and begin to whisper to myself.

"A gamble... a gamble... it needs to be high-stake, and possibly leaning towards me winning, obviously. I could play an old game... but I think I need to make one up."

I grab a pen and paper and my fingers begin to fly across the sheet. I got it! 

I just need a few weeks- Midari...

If I can't have you...

then no one can.

Y/N POV:

I wake up suddenly, wrapped up in Midari's warm touch. It's a little bit earlier than I'd usually wake up, but I don't think I could fall back asleep. I gently stroke Midari's hair in an attempt to wake her up, and lay my hand on the side of her cheek.

"Babe- what time is it... it can't be the time that we normally wake up- it's too early.."

"It's 6:30AM, sorry babe. I just didn't wanna be the only one up!"

A gingerly smile captures my face from ear to ear. My cheeks turn tomato red from just seeing Midari look down at me. She cups her hand around my cheek and gives me a soft kiss on my lips.

"You have the most adorable smile I have ever seen. It's alright babe, I don't care that you woke me. Whatever makes you happy, makes me happy."

She yawns loudly and pulls me closer to her warm chest. 

"Let's just stay here in bed all day~ I mean, it's not like we can go anywhere."

"I like that idea!"

I snuggle up to Midari and rest my head on her pillow.

"How about we finish that movie? For real this time?"

"Deal"

Yes yes I'm very aware that this chapter was short, so I'm going to release the next one later today. its so short since it was like supposed to be like the calm before the storm type of thing... like some fluff before mary's gamble etc etc 

so yeah expect the next chpater in about 2 hours! :)
