CHP 11

The next morning is like no other.

Jimin and Jeongguk ended up sleeping in the samd bed that night and mind you much more closely than the teacher would have prefered.

As Jimin's face twitches softly and the light seeping into the bedroom strikes his face, his eyes flutter and he becomes aware of a hand resting on his slim waist. His first thought is that So-Young is going to see. But she isn't here right now. She's gone.

But it still doesn't stop the fact that despite it feeling so right, it feels just as wrong. And so he slowly throws his legs over the bed, digging the heels of his palms into his eyes. He stares at the clock and realizes that he still has roughly half an hour left until he needs to be awake and moving.

Jimin sighs quietly. Sleeping like a baby next to Jeongguk always seemed possible. But earlier in the night has definitely effected him and now his only rough thoughts are that the house isn't as safe as it once used to be.

He goes to stand up but fingers curl around his wrist. He can feel the heat rush all throughout his body and he forces himself to stay calm.

"Jimin," Jeongguk calls out. And it isn't a question. It's a statement which has the teacher freezing in his spot.

He turns to look at the policeman and before he knows it, he's being pulled back onto the bed softly. Jeongguk is staring into his eyes, deeply and almost prying. Jimin shies away, looking down into his lap. He can sense Officer Jeon sitting up and eventually his jaw is clutched tenderly and his face is leveled with the brunette's. His cheeks heat up at the close distance.

"Did you have a bad dream again?" he asks and Jimin shakes his head, wanting nothing more than to look down and evade his alluring, owlish gaze. The worrying glint in his eyes does nothing more than make him yearn for something he can't have. For something his heart desires and body craves. It isn't safe and as he finds himself mindlessly leaning in, he pulls back.

And then he stands from the bed, running his hands through his hair. "I'm going to take a shower, if that's okay," he says and Jeongguk nods his head before it lands softly against his pillow once again.

Jimin becomes overwhelmed with his morning stare and looks away.

"I'll pick out some early morning clothes for you while you're in there, okay? I know we grabbed some things but they're all work clothes," Jeongguk states and the teacher nods his head, rubbing at his nape.

"Okay," Jimin replies and looks at Jeongguk's cute morning face one last time and decides to pivot on his heel, entering the bathroom before he finds himself completely frozen in place.

Jimin closes the door behind him, exhaling quietly. He presses his hand to his heart and looks down, being overrun by guilt and shame. This shouldn't have happened. He shouldn't have fallen asleep in their bed. He shouldn't have woken up, tightly woven with Jeongguk.

The teacher bites down on his lip and decides to hopefully successfully push his thoughts aside. He begins to undress and spots the clean towel hanging on a metal bar. Jimin starts the water and steps beneath it, sighing contentedly as it hits every single part of his body it needs to.

But his only thought is that it doesn't feel as good as Jeongguk's hands and he digs the heels of his palms into his eyes, shaking his head.

"Stop," he scolds himself as he presses his hand to the wall of the shower, looking down. He bites down hard on his bottom lip and releases it slowly, standing up straight with a heavy sigh. He begins to wash himself, finishing up quickly before he hops out of the shower, drying himself off.

Jimin stares at his bare reflection in the mirror and does what he does best, picking at the parts of himself he dislikes; which quite frankly happens to be all of the parts his crazy ex has touched. So in short, his whole body.
