(A/N): Jimin's sexual assault scene is recalled in this chapter. Proceed with caution, loves.
It's taken three hours for Jimin to fall into compliance with the police officers. He's jittery and not only will he unallow the men in blue to touch him, Jeongguk doesn't allow it either. The teacher is given time to strip from the lingerie, back into his old clothes. Officer Jeon's uniform jacket is ridden over his shoulders and crumpled in his hands as he holds the thick material to his chest, still yet attempting to regulate his sporadic headspace.
The walk through the mall is brutal. The teacher feels like a celebrity as he's lead through the tall standing building. The Officers are surrounding him, creating some form of barrier that unhinges occasionally at the brute force of persistence. This gives way for nosy news reporters to touch him and shove microphones in his face. He's weeping in the midst of all chaos, trying to shield his eyes from the flashing lights of cameras. He never thought I'd get this bad.
They're all trying very hard to get him out unscathed. And he appreciates the effort silently however it does little as the turbulent assemblage of news anchors and curious citizens simply veer him further into a restless state of panic as well as sickness. Jimin can feel the bile bubbling up in his throat yet he forces it down with a repulsive, thick gulp.
He can recall the couple panic attacks he has had while in Jeongguk's presence and the tactics he used in helping him govern the state of his oxygen intake. It's a rather pitiful sight as he attempts to replicate them yet fails miserably as anytime he breathes in and out the air gets caught, shallow. Slicked up by a thin layer of sweat as notable dollops crest on his full upper lip, Jimin eagerly yet with stuttered, incomplete movements struggles to pull Officer Jeon's coat off of his body.
He's unaware that Jeongguk is the one trying to help him and as he feels an uninvited hand brush up against his arm he cries out, coming to a standstill. The camera flashes only seem to worsen and not only the painfully coherent blabber of the people surrounding him but the voices in his head. They're vibrant and ruthless as they wedge themselves further into his brain as a constant echo - a constant reminder of what he's done and what's been done to him.
Suddenly Jimin is gripped roughly by his arm by another Officer and although he weeps in response, so poignant, the man doesn't let him go. Only one sleeve remains on his arm and the one that's bare is the one that has been grabbed. The reoccurring, caustic sensation sears exactly where the intrusive hand lays.
If things weren't bad enough, further chaos ensues. The policemen begin to argue and everyone is given no choice but to stop yet they're almost there. The exit of the mall is visible and feels as though it's in arms reach, however it's still so far away.
Namjoon steps up and pries the other policeman's hand off of Jimin. The teacher is sent back as his balance is suffering but with much fortune Jeongguk is behind him, catching him. In this case the poor blond headed man would rather fall to the floor instead of being touched yet there's no telling just how much damage would be done to him were he to slip into the hands of the news reporters.
Jimin wiggles out of Jeongguk's arms, unaware of the way the man is looking at his back with such sadness in his eyes. It's deep and sorrowful yet with an abundance of cameras on him, Officer Jeon is keeping it to a minimum and eventually they begin to move once again.
Eventually the shift into a police car is completed however Jimin doesn't sit in the back by himself. Jeongguk is on the blond's right side, not touching however keeping a close eye on him as they leave the middle seat empty.
They're given no choice but to drive slowly through the conglomeration of people. Although Jeongguk's jacket is now off of Jimin's shoulders, the blond man is cradling it close to his nose, inhaling the serene aroma of Officer Jeon's cologne as well as natural musk. The thought of being touched is petrifying however he can't deny that the brunette's smell is quelling his nerves; almost like an inhaler.
