6) The Conversation

Me and Jaehyuk arrived home, I took off my mask. "Okay, what are we gonna do now?" I asked Jaehyuk, he shrugged and put his hands through his hair making a mess out of it. "First of all, you need to stay in hiding. People would start suspecting you're a clone or some shit, only go out with a mask on so no one would be able to recognize you. Secondly, we need to get your memories back. If you really are from another universe we need to find a way back to your world and get you back as soon as possible-"

"Yah! Jaehyuk! Stop rambling." I said, grabbing his face to stop his rambling. "We can discuss it later I shouldn't have brought it up. Go to your room, you still need to rest." I took my hands away from his face, he looked at me, it was... a weird stare. He nodded and went over to his room. I sighed in relief, I walked over to the kitchen and took a cup of water. This is... very stressful not gonna lie.

I finished my cup of water and decided to check on Jaehyuk. I knocked on his door, he opened it with a smile. "If you need anything just tell me. You're still injured it would be best if you don't move much." I said with a smile, he nodded and I walked away. As I passed the corner I leaned against the wall, catching my breath. My heart thumping fastly, I'm not sure what's wrong with it but in this situation I can't really check it now can I? I chuckled a little and went back to my room. I laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling.

Jaehyuk

Hey, are you up?

Yeah, why?

I need something... can you come over?

Sure i'll be right there

I got out of my bed, I went over to Jaehyuk's room, I was about to knock on the door but it opened by itself, Jaehyuk pushed me into the room and closed the door behind him. "What did you need?" I asked, Jaehyuk's eyes were darker than usual. I looked at him confused as he got closer and suddenly grabbed my face. His thumb started caressing my lips. He looked right into my soul, now I understood why his eyes are darker. Lust.

He looked down at my lips then made eye contact again. My cheeks were heating up, not sure how to react in this situation. "May I?" He asked, I looked at him confused and he chuckled, his breath fanning my face. "May I kiss you?" He asked. I stayed quiet for some time. "Its ok if you don't want me to kiss you. I understand it was stupid anyways." He said, letting me go. I don't know what came over me but I pulled him in for a kiss. He was tense for a moment, probably surprised by my sudden acception but he quickly regained his mind and kissed me back.

He pushed me against the bed, making him top me. We separated from the kiss to catch our breath, we both smiled but my smile faded. He frowned. "What's wrong baby?" He asked, noticing the sudden change in mood. "We can't be in a relationship Jae.. I need to go back, my life here would be too complicated." I said with a sigh, he sighed too and laid next to me, pulling me into his embrace. "Let's enjoy our time together for now, okay?" Jaehyuk said, kissing the top of my head. I nodded and I could just tell he was smiling. I was exhausted from this day and ended up falling asleep in Jaehyuk's arms.

I woke up in Jaehyuk's arms very confused. This isn't some fanfic where anything can happen and that its supposed to be a romance book but the author got too side tracked with the drama that she forgot to focus on the romance and so she decided to finally get me and Jaehyuk together cause the book is coming to an end. That's just stupid, this is real life not a wattpad fanfic. I looked over at Jaehyuk, admiring his looks.

Jaehyuk opened his eyes and smiled. I blushed slightly and looked away from him. "Let's go eat." I said and was about to get out of bed but Jaehyuk pulled me down again. "What if I wanna eat you?" He asked, chuckling. "Gross."

I pushed him away from me, I existed the room and went over to mine to freshen up. I went over to the dining room and was met with a smiling Jaehyuk. "Where's your mom?" I asked. "At work." He answered, I looked at the clock and noticed it was 9am already. I nodded, I noticed the pre-made breakfast his mom made us. We heated it up and ate the breakfast.

"So... how do we get my memories back?" I asked and Jaehyuk shrugged. "I'm not sure... how did you get some of them back?"

"Umm... I think it was when I met someone from my past, like Sorn and Yeeun or Yoonbin." I said nodding. "But we can't contact any of the other possible people me in this world knew since I'm dead here, it would freak them out. I don't think remeeting with Sorn, Yeeun or Yoonbin would be a good idea either since it would be confusing and when I met them for the second time I didn't remember anything."

Jaehyuk sighed. "Then how about... you just stay here with me." He said, pecking my lips. I chuckled. "Jaehyuk, we can't do that. We have 6 days to figure out me going back before you go back to your regular life in school." I said, I went upstairs to my room, got a pen and a notebook and walked back to Jaehyuk.

"Ok, so what we know so far is that I almost died by a train as I was getting out of a tunnel. A tunnel which I clearly remember to be abandoned in an abandoned train station." I said, Jaehyuk nodded. "So... the tunnel is gonna be the passage way back to my world."

Jaehyuk sighed. "We can't be completely certain about that, what if the memories are separated from each other and not connected but only seem connected cause you forgot some parts." He said, I chuckled. "Are you only saying that because you want me to stay?" I joked, he chuckled. "Maybe a little." He said and pecked my lips again.

"So.. in order for us to be certain I need my memories back. But, I'm pretty certain this is the passage way back. I still need to let some time for your heart to heal before you go back to school." I joked and winked at him. He sighed and looked at me sadly. "Why is it that when I finally found someone I like, they have to leave so quickly."

"I'm sorry Jaehyuk... but I don't belong here. We both need to forget about this happening after I go back, going back to our regular life. You'll find someone else, someone better who won't leave you." I said, holding his hand, tears escaped both our eyes. "But I don't want someone else."

"Me neither."
