8) Goodbye, Forever

"Hey, Haneul." Jeahyuk started saying as we were on our way to the train station that started it all. "Hmm?"

"I know this is selfish but... what if you stay? I know, I know, you can't but I cam make you happy, we can be happy." He rumbled, I sighed. I looked at him sadly. "Jae..  I don't want to risk this. It would hurt more if the side effect to staying would be extreme like dying." I said, Jaehyuk's eyes widened but he nodded. "You're right.. it was a stupid idea."

We reached the tunnel next to the train station. I looked at Jaehyuk, he had tears in his eyes. I pecked his lips. "I love you." I whispered, he whispered it back. "I'm sorry for leaving but I have no other choice." I said as we hugged, I felt him shake his head in disagreement. "Its okay. Don't worry about it." We both sobbed in each other's embrace. We shared one last kiss before I went inside the tunnel with a flashlight on. Before I entered I heard Jaehyuk's faint whisper. "Goodbye, forever." I almost didn't hear it Jae, but I did.

I walked through the tunnel, my flashlight suddenly stopped working, that's odd, its brand new. I remember that the same thing happened on my way here, I sighed and kept on walking through the dark tunnel. The ground started shaking slightly, i frowned my eyebrows, I looked behind me to notice a light coming closer and closer. Odd. Suddenly I heard the sounds of a train, it was too late when I noticed that the light was actually a train speeding through the tunnel. It was too late. I got hit by the train.

"A body of a young girl was found in the abandoned train station in Seoul. According to her friends she went there a week ago and never came back, they started to worry and decided to report her missing. The police searched the area and it seemed like the girl was hit by a train. Its an odd case which the police find hard to solve, if you know anything please inform the local police station."

A boy around his early 20's was walking through the streets of Seoul, he looked at a certain train station with a weak smile, memories flowing back. "Yah! Yoon Jaehyuk! Stop looking at that train station already, people would think you're in love!" A short boy yelled, Jaehyuk looked over with a smile and chuckled. "Yeah, yeah Mashiho, you say that everytime."

The two boys grew quite close at college as they were in the same major. A taller boy approached Mashiho and kissed his cheek, Jaehyuk made a face of disgust, glaring at the tall one. The tall one sighed. "I already apologized Jae." The tall rolled his eyes, Jaehyuk scoffed. "Yeah well, Junkyu, an apology won't bring my sister back."

"I already told you its a misunderstanding! My mom always made me break up with the girls I dated and she followed me like a psycho and kept hitting them." Junkyu said and shook his head, Jaehyuk chuckled. "I know man, I'm just playing with you."

They started walking towards the mall again, Mashiho and Junkyu going hand in hand. They started dating around 2 months after Haneul left, after Junkyu's mom finally went to prison. He acted the way he did because of his mom and he's happy now with Mashiho.

"Jae, when are you getting yourself a partner?" Mashiho suddenly asked, Jaehyuk looked at him with a sad smile. "You already know, I can't move on from her." Jaehyuk chuckled bitterly and looked at the sky. "I hope she moved on from me and can live happily."

Junkyu patted Jaehyuk's shoulder. "Its hard to move on.. but maybe a new relationship would help. I heard the cute new guy in our major has a crush on you." Jaehyuk shook his head. "I don't want to take advantage of someone's feelings for the sake of moving on. It would probably happen eventually, I just need more time."

"Jae.. its been over two years." Mashiho said, Jaehyuk nodded. They reached the mall. He remembered the time he brought her to the mall for new clothes. "Let's go, the others are waiting already." They entered a restaurant and met the other 9 boys. They ate dinner together and for that slim moment, he didn't think about her. Maybe, he started moving on.

A/N: Ahhh what a roller coaster, I knew how I wanted to end this book since the first chapter so it pained me writing cute moments cause i knew what would happen, I might write an alternate ending, I have ideas for 2 more endings but school just started and I'll be busier.
