A New Chapter [K.L]

It's Christmas!

The sound of pots banging together filled my ears as I shot up from my bed. I looked beside me to see Kian juse covering his ears with his pillow. I checked the time to see it was 9am.

"WHO THE HELL THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUNNY TO WAKE ME UP?" I screamed which caused loud laughter to echo through the halls, seconds later the door swung open to reveal Sam. "Wake up lazyass, it's Chirstmas!" He exclaimmed as he rushed over to pull the sheets off the bed, exposing my skin to the cold air.

I rolled out of bed and went to the mirror. My hair was in what I think was suppose to be a bun, and I was wearing a big blue t shirt with black nike shorts. I fixed my hair into a messy ponytail, and looked over at Kian who was once again peacefully sleeping.

"Kiki wake u people are coming over in a few hours" I said as I nudged him. He groaned and flipped over onto his back. "I'll be down in 10 minutes" He quietly said as he rubbed his eyes.

I walked downstairs to see someone had gone out and bought donuts, I happily walked over and grabbed a choclate one, and poured myself some milk. I went over to the couch to see Kian, Ricky, and Trevor watching tv, and Sam and Connor on thier laptops. I sat down in betwen Ricky and Sam, and went onto my phone to check on social media.

Everything was mostly Chirstmas related, so I turned my phone off and looked over at Sam's computer screen, he was looking through Tumblr, so I shifted my weight to face him and looked at his feed.

After a few minutes, Sam looked over and me and laughed, " I seem intersting now that you have nothing to do on your phone?" He jokes, "Don't you just feel the love" I sarcasticly responded as I got up to put away my glass.

I put my glass away, and Kian walked into the kitchen. "Good morning" He says as he stretches his arms out, "Good morning" I replied.

" People are coming around eleven, so if you want to take a shower you should go now" He reccomends as he grabs a donut. I nod and go upstairs.

After my shower I looked at the time to see it was almost 10, so I went to my closet to pick out an outfit. I decided on blue jeans, a maroon sweater, and brown boots. After I put on my outfit, I went back into the bathroom to do my hair and make up.

I dried and curled my hair into loose curls, afterwards I put on my make up, which I tried to match with my outfit somewhat. I then returned to my room and checked the time to see it was 15 minutes to 11, so people would be coming soon.

We decided this year everyone would come to our house for Christmas, so we can exchange gifts. We only wanted close friends so people like Andrea, Jack, Anthony, Dom, Jenn, Rebbeca, Nash, and Cam were coming over.

I walked downstairs to see all the boys dressed, and sitting on thier phones or laptops. I looked at the Christmas tree to see all of the presents we had bought under it, and soon it will be filled with even more presents.

I was so excited, I felt like a child again always so excited and happy to see the presents I got, and to see the reaction of peoples faces when they open thier present from me. The feeling was so familier from when I was younger.

My mom and dad would always spoil me with gifts because I was an only child, and I would always be so excited to open each one of them. Afterwards we always watched a Chirstmas movie while we were sipping on hot chocolate and snuggled under a large blanket to fit all three of us.

I wonder what my parents are doing right now.. I thought to myself, but I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a loud knock.

Jc opened the door to reveal Dom with a huge bag, " I brought gifts" He said as a trudged into the house and placing the bag by the tree. "Hey Dom" I said as he looked up " Hi Lex" he replied before walking off towards Sam.

Dom and I never really talk, we excahnge a few words every now and then, but nothing more. The doorbell rang, and I walked over to see Jenn and Andrea standing on the other side, both with a huge bag in thier hands filled with presents that are waiting to be ripped open. I greeted them, and they went and put thier bags down.

Soon, everyone had arrived, and we were all having our own conversations. Cameron, Nash and I were in the middle of discussing how we all wanted to go to Austraila, but we were interrupted with Trevor yelling at everyone to shut up.

" I think it's time we opened presents" He said with a smirk, and we all cheered. Everyone spread out throughtout the living room, as Connor and I handed everyone thier gifts.

After about five minutes we all had presents infront of us. "So how should we do this?" Anthony asked, " Um I guess on the count of three just open your presents?" Rebbeca responded.

We all nodded, and Sam started counting, "1, 2, 3... MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU LITTLE FUCKS!" He yelled, and we all bursted out into laughter as we grabbed a present to open.

I got a lot of cool things, like a cardigan, a case for my laptop and phone, giftcards, shrits, and such. My favorite present was the poloriod camera Connor and Trevor bought for me, they even got me a ton of film.

I had one present left, which confused me because I had opened everyones, and Kian took me shopping yesterday as my present. I opened it to reveal a box, I opened the box to see a silver necklace with a arrow on it. Kian walked up to me with a confused look on his face.

" Don't get excited, I didn't buy that for you. But who did?" He asks as he sits down next to me. I shrug my shoulders and look at the box to see if there was a letter or anything, and eventually I found a small card that was tucked away in the box.

I put it infront of Kian and I, so we could both read it.

"Lexi, we are currently in England celebrating this wonderful holiday with your grandparents. We wanted to send you something smalll, to let you know we know you still exist. We see all you videos, and we are watching you grow into something so big, and congratulations on going on tour! We miss you so much, and regret what we said to you last year. We have come to realize these people you hang around have made you such a better person, we have never seen you so happy! We hope that when we return you will come for a vist.

Merry Christmas, we love you!"

Speechless, I put the card down and look at Kian who also looked suprised. "Well... What are you going to do about this?" He asked as he looked at me, "I don't know.. Can we deal with this later I just want to be able to enjoy myself today" I quietly said as I put the card back in the ring box, and set it down by all my other gifts.

"LEX, KIAN, COME ON WE ARE GOING TO WATCH CHRISTMAS MOVIES! YOU WANT HOT CHOCOLATE?" I hear Jack yell, and Kian puts his arm around me, leading me to everyone else.

I know this one is rather long, but I haven't uploaded in a while so I felt like I owed it to you guys.

What should Lexi do about this unexpected letter from her parents? Will she go vist them? Will she ignore it?
