Secrets (draco x reader)

"The challenges"

Me, Draco, Crabbe and Goyle all decided to skip breakfast and went to sit in the library instead. The boys didnt like it, said it was boring but i only wanted to go for one reason. I grbbed the book about Triwizard tournaments and went straight to the different type of challenges. Dragons, The lake and The maze. I studied them all carefully as i felt a presence behind me, it was the boys.

"Ah so these are the things Potter has to win, theyre easy" he boasts to the boys next to him

"i hate to break it to you malfoy but i think Potter has a chance" i replied knowing that he was going to try and back his answer

"listen princess, Potter hasnt got a chance, the games are rigged for it to be either Viktor or Fluer" he raises his eyebrows as the bell goes for the first challenge to begin. We all speed over to the seats Blaise saved for us at the front. The challenge starts but me and draco wasnt paying attention, that is until it was harrys turn. "good luck scar face, you dont stand a chance" Draco yelled as he entered. His goal was to capture the golden egg protected by the dragon, he was flying everywhere until he lost his broom, he used his wand to get it back and then flew over everyones heads, he dissapeared out of veiw, me and draco silently celebrated as we though he had crashed or something but just as we were done, the boy with the scar flew in and grabbed the egg. Everyone cheered except slytherin. After everyone was done celebrating we headed back to the common room. The lake challenge is next, its going to be difficult because at least one person gets out every year. Me, Draco and Blaise all sit on the couch infront of the fire with Crabbe and Goyle on the floor, we were all suprissed that harry survived.

A few hours later and people headed to bed but i got called down to Professor Mcgonnagals office. I walked down, still in my robe and knocked, she greeted me in.

"you do realise i should punish you for your behavior the other day" she asked and because i wasnt in the mood to argue i just nodded "there fore i have to do this" she said while wving her wand around. i started feeling dizzy and before i knew it everything went black

(Dracos pov)

we were all waiting in the common room for y/n to get out of bed but about 20 minutes passed and no sight of her. Me, Crabbe and Goyle walked to the great hall hoping she was sat there and just left without them but she wasnt. I sat down and Dumbledore started with his announcement. The lake, thats the challenge today, what if shes been taken there, no one would help her, all the competitors didnt like her. I decided that she was just ill and she wanted to spend the day in bed so after breakfast we headed over to the lake, just as the competition had started the camera they had placed behind the people who had to be saved turned on. Crabbe realised there was an extra person but was to clueless to realise who it was. I didnt realise there was a screen showing the people so i was kind of just waiting for everyone to come up with their people. After a bit of time, Fluer had quit, Cedric and Viktor had got there person and harry came up with two people, Fluers sister and his person.

"Your little girlfriends down there malfoy" potter said pointing at the screen, i looks over and realises that it was y/n. i took my robe and shoes off, luckily Snape realised what i was going to do at put a spell on me making me be able to breath under water. Quickly, i jump in the water and dive straight down to where y/n was. I untied her and swam back to the top.

i felt my body come out of whatever state i was just as we broke the waters surface, Draco puts me on the wood and covered me with towels, i didn't know what was going on, only that i was cold and wet. i felt myself needing to cough badly, i was coughing for a good five minutes before standing up. Everyone realised i was up and stopped gossiping but i wasn't focused on them, i was focused on the dripping wet boy next to me, he pulled me in for a tight hug and kissed my head.

"i thought i lost you" he whispered so only i could hear but i didn't respond i just stayed in the hug, after a bit Draco let go and shouted " i swear if i find out anyone knew that it was y/n and didn't tell me earlier i will kill you" i giggle, knowing that he cares about me is the best. Everyone walked in different directions while me and malfoy walked to the slytherin common room. "go shower and get into something comfy and we can sit and talk" he spoke softly and i nodded and headed to the showers. After i got out the shower i changed into black joggers and black cropped hoodie and i left my hair down and walked down to the common room where draco was sat wearing his infamous black joggers and a black hoodie. we matched and as soon as we saw each other we pointed and laughed. The other three boys where sat by Draco and the couch opposite was taken so i went and sat on Draco's lap and he wrapped his arms around me, The boys pause and give draco a confused look as those three are the only other ones that know that their faking their relationship. i just laugh and draco does to before carrying on there conversation. An owl flew through the open window and dropped a letter into my lap before flying away. i open the letter:

To my dearest y/n,
We hope to see you back at the Miracle mansion for christmas, also tell draco that if you both decide to come home that Draco has to stay at ours because his parents are away. He will have his own room but during the day you may be home alone so no dirty business, Hope to see you soon darling .

i sigh, do i go home or stay. i guess ill see what Draco is going to do. I realise that draco was reading the letter and he shakes his head.

" No way are we going to your parents, we can sty here all theyll want to do is make us into one of them" he says while putting the letter back into the envelope and throwing it in the bin.

"yeah i guess" i agreed, this way i would be able to spend christmas with my best friends.
