They went to a local hospital to get tested, the older man more excited then the smaller one, he was practically bouncing on his feet, while the boy seemed like he could care less, but if you stare at him long enough you can see his slight curiosity.
But from the event from before Hizu was slightly more calm knowing that even if he didn't have a quirk he'll sill get the unconditional love he always got from his father.
He stared at the large doors that lead into the hospital, swallowing his fears he stepped in.
"Um... Mr.Kusekabe can you please see me in private for a moment?"
The doctor said as he looked at the clipboard his eyebrows pinched as he stared at all the answers to what Hizu's possible quirk is but also the possibility of him not having one at all.
The man that was called raised a brow in confusion and slight fear as he stood, he walked out of the room with the doctor.
It was quiet for a moment, Hizu couldn't hear what they were saying, and he honestly didn't care.
He quietly played with the hem of his sleeves as he stared at the many-many posters of the human body parts, as well as a few mutated versions, with little descriptions and info about them, he was slightly intrigued at the differences between the mutated and non-mutated versions.
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN?!"
Hizu jumped up at the booming voice of his father.
He's never yelled before, or even curse-
It was quiet again, they were once muttering to each other.
They came back in, his father looking shriveled in the short amount of time they were outside, he ruffled his head in frustration.
"T-tou-san?"
He glanced at Hizu with a guilty look on his face, before bringing his eyes back to the ground.
"You're quirkless-"
The doctors eyes snapped towards the man in surprise and disbelief.
Lie.
Hizu eyes narrowed at his father.
Hizu's dad is lying, he could tell, his father was a pretty good lier, but the little things like his nose twitch or the way his eyebrows pinched was what gave him away, though he didn't know that Hizu noticed these little things.
Hizu didn't know why he was lying, but every time he did it was always for the sake for Hizu.
He nodded his head, he trusted his father with his whole life- if being 'quirkless' is something his father wishes, he'll comply."N-ne t-tou-san..."
"M-mr.kusekabe! Do you know what you're doing—?!"
The mentioned man just sent a glare towards the doctor and that effectively shut him up.
