Hayden didn't know what was happening. One, she was floating. Two, below her were her parents and there, standing behind a wall, hidden from her parents view, was her, but like four year old her. Her first thought was that she was hallucinating. Her second though, was this was probably a dream. That's when her body, you know the floating one, decided to drop. Hayden fell and landed on her stomach. She would have said it was painful, but it wasn't. Probably because this isn't real. She staggered to her feet, and looked at the scene around her. The boxes cluttering a house she hadn't seen in years. She knew this place. She knew this day. It was the day her parents packed everything up and left Japan. Her parents were some big shot CEOs of a company, and they were looking to expand to different countries. They said they needed to be in America when the new headquarters started. She didn't remember this conversation at all though.

"We can't just pack up and leave," her dad was saying, "Think about Hayden and what this will do to her."

"I am thinking about Hayden! This is the safest thing for her!" Her mother argued. "She's the queen, do you honestly think staying anywhere near the Dresden Slate and the other clans will be good for her?"

"It's not like any of them know about her."

"Not yet they don't, but I'd rather be far away from here when they do find out." Her mother had whispered. It seemed like that was the end of that argument, and little Hayden also decided it was a good idea to reveal herself.

"Mamma? What's happening?"

"Sweetheart, we were just going to tell you the good news. We're moving to America!" Hayden's mom said it with such happiness, that at the time, the girl thought it was a good thing.

Then the scene changed and all of a sudden Hayden was back in their house in America. She was ten, this time, and her little brother was hanging onto her legs. He was three at the time. Hayden had gone downstairs, hearing her parents arguing again.

"I just got a call from a friend in Scepter 4. They know. They know Hayden's the queen. Thankfully, the blue king doesn't want to involve a kid in their problems, but it's only a matter of time before this information gets out," her mom was saying.

"So what are we going to do?"

"What can we do? We have to move again. We have a building in London, if we go there, and not make a big deal about it to the public, we can stay for a couple years. Besides, there's a new headquarters being built in France and Spain. They'll expect us to go there first." That was when Hayden's parents went to tell her that they were moving again.

This exact conversation happened two more times, before her family finally moved back to Japan. Hayden hadn't remembered any of this, deeming it unimportant, especially since she was just a kid. Now, in the light of her new situation, all this information could be the key to figuring out who killed her parents. Then the scene changed again, except she knew this memory well. Hayden was running down the streets, away from her parents car. She had forced them to stop once she realized they had tricked her. She woke up that morning with her parents packing their stuff, saying they were going away for a week for vacation. Hayden, being the idiot that she was, believed it, until she finally realized they had duped her. That they were planning on moving again. She had forced them to stop the car and got out, saying she wasn't going anywhere. Her brother being the stupid nine year old he was, decided to follow his older sister (she was a really bad influence) and he too got out of the car and walked away. The two siblings weren't even a few steps away, when there was a loud crash. Hayden had spun on her heel, and stared, watching as the car, with her parents in it, went up in flames.

"This is your fault." She heard her mother whispering.

"If you had just listened to us, we would still be alive." This time it was her dad.

"Why did you kill us?" They asked in perfect unison.

"Why, why, why, why, why-" the voices whispered over and over again, and Hayden couldn't take it anymore. She fell to her knees and put her hands over her ears, yelling at them to stop. That she didn't mean to and that it wasn't her fault. In response to this, the voice grew louder, until the only thing she heard was the cacophony of voices screaming at her over and over again. The voices completely took over her senses, until she couldn't take it anymore and she screamed. A bright light immediately filled her vision, and when it was gone she saw her entire family's bodies in front of her, covered in blood. She went to touch them, but saw a flash of red on her hands. When she looked down, she saw herself covered in blood. Their blood.

"This is what you do. You kill everyone you care about." An unrecognizable voice whispered in her ear.

"No. No, it's not true," she whispered.

"You should just kill yourself, before you take anymore lives."

"No. No, no, no," she whispered over and over again like a mantra, before everything ended.
