The War That Never Ends

Leo Learns

The devil returns to the underworld. He must figure out how to tell Leo the news. The Devil looks for Leo but to no avail Leo cannot be found. The Devil asks a secondary guard of his in a rough sickly voice "Have you seen Leo we must talk?" The guard tells him he has gone out to collect souls. The Devil knew this was a way for Leo to blow off steam. The devil then topples over from his sickness and is taken to his chambers so he can sleep. Leo comes back and asks "Has the Devil returned?" He is then escorted to the Devils chambers. Leo tucks in his black as night wings. Leo is a little different from all the other demons. He is the only one with wings. No one knows where he comes from not even he does. One day the Devil found a little boy flying around causing mischief to humans. He also has the abilities of flames and invisibility. He was a weird young one if you looked into his eyes you would see one eye as red as the fires of the underworld and the other as black as a shadow. His hair is as black as his wings. Now he is older and carries two weapons with him at all times. The main one he uses is a sword of legend to the Demons that no one knew existed, and the other weapon he uses is a mystery because it's a part of him. His arm changes into any weapon he can think of. He enters the Devils chambers and asks "Are you still affected by this measly poison of the Angels?" "It is no measly poison my boy." the devil replies. "I have called you here for a reason young one. I'm afraid you will not like it but I have made a compromise with God." the Devil says. "Why would you make a deal with him, isn't he the one who had you poisoned in the first place?!" He yells. "Calm down child just hear me out before you say anything. We stuck a deal you and an Angel of his choice will be living under the same roof for 18 years. If the Angel attacks you we are able to take over the world, but if you attack the Angel the whole demon race is doomed." The Devil tells him. "What happens if neither of us attack?" Leo questions. "Then there will finally be peace between two nations at war. I know you don't know anything of your past but that's why I chose you. You do not attack unless you have a grudge against the Angels. And I must inform you of one more thing if I am to die while you are gone my powers will be transferred to you because I have chosen you to take my place. Now I must get some sleep because I am awfully tired. I will have one of the other demons give you the map to the location there you will meet the Angel with whom you will be living with." the Devil says. Leo understands what he must do and goes to retrieve the map. he grabs the map and opens it and he sees that the house is far away from civilization. He thinks about it and says that will be the best option if a battle breaks out. "Now all I need to do is figure out the name of the poor Angel who has to live with me." He thinks. He chuckles to himself and says "This is gonna be one hell of a ride.
