The War That Never Ends

The Fight

Leo was on his way to collect souls. He has always been able to collect souls since he was little but he had to always focus harder than all the other demons. This was like any other day of collecting souls except for the feeling he got today. "I need to land and collect this soul." Leo thinks to himself. Leo was actually really exhausted and he hasn't done anything yet. "This soul keeps moving that's unusual. Wait isn't this one of the ways to the Devils room? Only one way to find out." Leo says. Leo conjures up a spell and enters the door. Sure enough he was in the Devils room and the devil was dead. Leo walks to the soul and sees a note. Leo isn't sure if the note is for him but picks it up anyway. It reads: Leo this is the part I wanted to warn you about but decided it would be best not to. You have to collect my soul and absorb it. This might not be hard but when you absorb it you will have to fight my soul from taking over your mind and your entire soul. I wish you luck. "Wow, alright, I guess there's nothing to do but absorb it." Leo says. Leo goes up to the soul and concentrates on the soul and his at the same time. The Devils soul slowly gets closer and closer to Leo. when the soul is completely within him he walk out of the underworld. "Well that was easier than I thought." Leo says. Leo is calmer then before. "Wow it's already night." Leo says. Leo spreads his wings and starts to fly. halfway to the house his head goes foggy and he lands on a building. "What's going on? Why is my vision getting foggy?" Leo wonders. Leo's chest starts aching really bad. "This is you're test." Says a voice in his head. "You will fail this test. No one has passed it and that gives me the will to take over new bodies every time I die." the voice says. the voice in his head starts laughing. " I'm going to beat you because I'm a stronger demon than you were." Leo says. all of a sudden his head starts clearing up. "See, what did I tell you." Leo smirks. "You say your a better demon but did you ever see me in action?" The Devils voice says. Leo's vision gets foggier than last time. "You even told me I was stronger than you." Leo remarks as his vision becomes normal. the voice goes silent. Leo feels a new power surge through him. One of his wings turn a crimson red. Leo doesn't notice this and continues flying to the house. A little while later the voice comes back and yells "You don't even know if your a demon! You don't even know your parents! Me I know all about me that makes me more powerful!" Leo's vision goes black and his other wing changes to a crimson red. Leo starts falling. Leo has lost his battle.
