Catra's POV
I passed the ball to Adora. Adora looked so goofy without her front teeth. "My adult teeth are growing through!" Adora grinned as she passed back the ball.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah! Shadow Weaver had a look this morning. Wanna see?"
"OK!" I caught the ball and walked over. There were 2 small little bumps on her top gums. "Look at you! All grown up!"
Adora giggled. I smiled. Her giggle was adorable, and it always made me smile.
"Adora!"
Adora and I turned to see Shadow Weaver.
"Adora come here!" Shadow Weaver called.
Adora looked at me sadly. "I have to go," she mumbled.
I hugged Adora and whispered, "bye."
"Bye," Adora mumbled and ran off to Shadow Weaver.
I looked down at the ball I was holding. I could just hear Shadow Weaver speaking to Adora. "Why are you hanging with Catra?" Shadow Weaver asked.
"She's my friend!" Adora told her.
"She's getting in the way of your school work!" Shadow Weaver told her.
"But-"
"Come on. Let's go home."
I watched them walk away. She... She had abandoned me.
