Alex woke up to the sound of his alarm going off and Sara soon joining him once she felt the disturbance in the bed. She rose up looking quit irritated and tired; her hair was a mess and overall looked out of it. Alex giggled at her reaction, earning him a groan from her. They both got up and got ready for school, Sara had always had stuff over at Alex's house because of how often she would stay over. You would think that Jackie would stay over a lot more than any other friend, being really close with Alex and all. But no, she loved her own room way too much to ever stay at someone else's house willingly. But Sara was different and loved to stay over at everyone's house. Sometimes she would even sleep on the floor if it meant she can stay over with a friend. As Alex thought about it they finished with their task and went down stairs for a quick breakfast. They went for the cereal as Kazu watched, knowing that he would get some food eventually. As Alex looked down at the cute, fat roll he couldn't help but give him some pieces of the cereal. Kazu crunched them down loudly and trotted with his new treats so that he could finish them at his bed. Once the two were done with breakfast they went out the door, Rick was waiting outside for Alex like usually. "Well, I 'll see you at school." Sara waved while walking to her car. Alex waved back and went off to his own ride. Like always the two boys greeted each other and drove off. When they got to school they were surprised by multiply sheriff's car's parked all around the school. They never had them over really unless there was a fire or some kid was caught with something they shouldn't have. Alex was a little worried but more confused when he looked over at Rick. Rick looked quit nervous on seeing the car's. They parked and got out, Alex looked over at Rick with concern. "Rick are you ok? You look pretty nervous and upset."

"I'm fine, just worried about why they're here. I'm worried that maybe something caught on fire, like my project in the math room. It would suck if that was burned or completely destroyed, you know?"

"Yeah, well we have to get to class. I'm sure your project is fine." Alex said still looking at him with concern. Rick has been acting so weird lately and it was really starting to make Alex fear for his friend. It seems to be really eating him up inside, like he's about to fall apart at any second with the stress on his shoulders. Alex wished he could help, but every single time he asked about it or tried to comfort him, Rick would pass it off as nothing or make up some kind of excuse. For now he will let it go, but after school he's going to get to the bottom of whatever is going on. They got to class on time and took their seats. But they noticed that Hunter was not in the class again. Maybe he was the reason why the sheriff's department was here. This thought didn't stay long though because the principle soon came down to the class and asked for Alex. He was very confused and also a little scared. He got up slowly and followed the principle to his office. When they entered his office, Alex saw that there were two sheriff's in there waiting for him. Alex was told to sit down and the principle went on to explain the situation.

"First off I want to start off by saying that you are not in trouble in any way. We just need to ask you a few questions about somethings that have happened recently. It retains to the texts you had gotten last night. May we see your phone?" Alex took out his phone from his pocket and went on the text to show to the men. As one of the officers were taking notes and looking over the texts, the other one stepped forward. "Hello Alex, I'm name is Sheriff Duncan and I just need to ask you some things. Now when you got these texts did you tell anyone else about them?"

"I told my mom and my friend Sara. I didn't know what else to do really. I didn't have anyone to really pinpoint the texts on and thought that if I called the sheriff's department that you guys wouldn't be able to do anything." Alex said kind of fumbling with his hands and feeling a bit anxious.
