Shu's Pov

There was only one bed and two of us left. Im pretty sure Lui wont sleep in the same bed as me. I was interrupted by shuffling on the bed.

Lui:What? Your sleeping on the ground whether you like it or not.

Of course he doesn't wanna sleep in the same bed as me. And to think that he actually cared.

Shu:Yeah.

I went ahead and laid down on the cold, hard ground, curling up into a ball to give warmth to myself. I kept on tossing and turning, shivering from the cold. After a good 20 minutes I finally felt sleep consume me.

In Da Morning.

Lui:Yah Kurenai get up!
Shu:W.. What?

I woke up no longer feeling the cold and roughness of the ground. Instead I was embraced by the feeling of warmth and cotton. Wait I was in a bed. I recall sleeping on the ground though.

Valt:Morning Shu!
Shu:Morning Valt.
Free:Did you guys here the news?
Lui:No did something happen?
Free:Well they opened a new safe camp I think we should head there.
Valt:But arnt we already safe here?
Shu:I'm afraid not.
Lui:What makes you say that?
Shu:The trapdoor is made out of wood and its really old. No one knows when it can collapse. If the infected reach down here we might not be able to escape.
Free:Exactly so we will head out tomorrow morning for today lets just teach you guys to defend yourselves.
Lui:Yeah you really gonna have to defend yourselves when we go out cause Im pretty sure there are more infected now.
Free:Yeah Lui Im taking Valt.
Lui:Why do I have to train an idiot?!
Free:Shu's smarter than you Lui.
Lui:Tch.

We decided of splitting the room. The left side is for Free and Valt to train and the right side is for me and Lui...

Valt's Pov.

Free:Okay Valt can you hold a knife properly?
Valt:Ofcourse I can! See Im holding it right now!
Free:Yeah but you wont be able to kill a infected with a stance like that.
Valt:K... Kill?!
Free:Valt you have to kil-
Valt:Free I cant kill anyone! Mom said if I do I'll go to hell! I thought you meant cooking!
Free:Cooking... Seriously?
Valt:Hehe yeah.
Free:Valt do you want any of us to die? Do you wanna protect Shu?
Valt:Of course I do! But I dont think I can kill someone. I just cant.. Free I dont like blood..

I felt like crying. The memories coming back to me. I hung my head low. Free then came close to me and hugged me. I hugged him back letting the warmth embrace me.

Free:Valt whats wrong with blood?
Valt:F... Free I never had good experience with blood.
Free:Its fine Valt you dont have to tell me right now. Cmon its gonna be fine if you wanna survive you have to kill. Do you understand that?
Valt:Y.. Yeah.

Free pulled away and looked me in the eye. He stared at me for 2 minutes then he ruffled my hair.

Free:Dont be sad it doesn't suit you.
Valt:Okay! Lets train then?..
Free:Yeah cmon Ill help you.
Valt:Free?
Free:Yeah Valt?
Valt:Im scared of blood because I never had good experience with it. Im not talking about wounds or scratches. I witnessed my grandma's death.
Free:Oh.. Im so sorry about that.
Valt:Its fine though! That happened 3 years ago! I still have mom-.... I dont know who I still have...
Free:Valt Im pretty sure she's fine think positive. And you have Shu, me and even Lui.

Free then came to me and started tickling my tummy.

Free:Not untill you stop making that sad face.
