"Y/N, are you in here?" Draco's voice called sweetly.

He pushed the door open, his eyes scanned around the room in sight of you. You sat in the back corner of the Y/H common room. As much as you loved Draco and his company, you desperately wanted to be alone.

"Sweetheart, what are you doing?" He locked eyes with you before coming to your aid.

You placed the book beside you, reading was one of your favourite pastimes. It kept you distracted, and always managed to relax you. You wiped your puffy eyes with your robes sleeve, and placed your book beside your thigh and couch.

"Why did you run off like that?" He asked, sitting beside you.

"Pansy was being an absolute bitch! And you didn't even stick up for me? You just sat there!" You cried.

Draco was quite shocked at your yelling, you rarely raise your voice at anyone, let alone yell at him. But today was different, very different. You and Pansy were quite good friends, ever since the first year, you two just clicked and got along so well. But her and Draco were even closer. Ever since you and Draco became official, it gutted her. She cut off all ties with you, but still remained close with Draco. But today she exploded.

He placed his hand on your lap, you quickly flinched, he retracted his arm back, somewhat embarrassed.

"I'm-I'm sorry, I was just surprised you two were fighting I guess." He mumbled.

"Really? That is such a lame excuse! Did you not hear the names she called me? And what she said about us?"

"Babe, she's my friend, I can't just-"

"And I'm your girlfriend! We've been together for over 3 fucking years Draco, that means something. And you still priorities your relationship with her, even though she's tried sabotaging us heaps of times!" Your throat became dry and your eyes stung from the crying.

"Y/N, what would you like me to do?" He asked, he gripped onto your hands, looking into your eyes.

Your breathing became unsteady and your eyes burnt, your stomach felt knotted as he put you on the spot. You weren't sure what you wanted him to do, you just wanted Pansy out of the picture.

"I just want Pansy to leave us alone. I don't want you to be around her anymore." Your voice was shaky and unsure.

"Then I'll end our friendship." He stated firmly.

"Wait-"

"No. You're right, I wasn't prioritising you, and I'm sorry Y/N L/N. I'm sorry for making you not feel enough, I promise this won't happen again"

He held your hands more firmly, not breaking eye contact.

"I love you Draco" You whispered, moving closer to him.

"I love you more"

Your heart fluttered at his words, you finally felt this weight of guilt and anger be lifted away. You finally had him to yourself.
