"Hey Lauren, Camila! Over here! Smile for the camera!" A boy called over. He held a black camera in the duo's face as the flash came on. Camila smiled widely pulling her girlfriend close to her. Lauren on the other hand stared at the camera blankly, she snaked her arms around Camila's waist protectively.

Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello were voted the cutest couple in their high school. They have been going out since middle school from when they were in their awkward mid-teens to the flawless women they have grown to. Lauren was known to be the star soccer player mid-fielder for Miami High while Camila was a writer and the President of the Newsletter club. A very unusual combination indeed but no one really questioned it because anyone could see the sparks flying whenever the two girls would make eye contact.

"One more. And Lauren could you smile this time?" The curly-haired boy requested causing the green-eyed girl to huff and roll her eyes. Camila softly nudged her girlfriend but Lauren didn't budge. When Lauren heard the camera click she quickly turned away from it and faced her locker then entered her combination. Camila gave the girl a pointed look before approaching the boy.

"I'm so sorry about her, Harry." Camila apologized. She walked over to the boy and glanced at the multiple photos he took. She frowned as she saw every photo he had with Lauren had her with an expressionless look. The boy sighed as he flipped through the photo knowing he probably couldn't publish any of it. Camila patted the boy in the back and walked towards her girlfriend. Camila pinched the girl's upper arm.

Lauren was arranging her books when she felt pain shoot up her arm.

"OW!" She cried. She snapped her head to her side and found her girlfriend glaring at her. "Camz that fucking hurt!"

Camila crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Would it hurt you to smile once in a while?"

"KINDA!" Lauren pouted as she rubbed her upper arm. Camila groaned and started to walk away from the soccer player but Lauren was quick enough to grab the girl's wrist. She turned the brunette around and pulled her closer.

"Hey." She whispered. She tucked a stray strand of Camila's hair behind the girl's ear and caressed her face. She dragged her finger by the contours of Camila's face throughout her jawline and resting it below her chin. Camila fluttered her eyes closed and bit her lip as she took pleasure in Lauren's touches. "I love you."

Lauren closed the gap between them and pressed her lips to Camila's. Their lips moved in sync as they captured each other's lips.

"I love you too." Camila breathed. She pulled away and rested her forehead against Lauren's.

"But I would love you more if you smiled more often... and I have to go."

The brunette made a move to escape Lauren's grasp but the green-eyed girl pulled her in once more pecking her lips then finally letting go.

"Let me walk you to make sure no one else bothers you." The soccer player took out a white binder before closing her locker. Lauren held her hand out for the girl to take. Camila happily intertwined their hands together and skipped while her girlfriend walked coolly right beside her.
"My hero." The brunette exclaimed.

-

Camila stood next to Dinah on the bleachers as she watched her girlfriend dribble the ball on the field.

"Let's go, Lauren!" She cheered raising her foam finger up. Dinah sunk down, embarrassed to be seen with Camila. She held her hand right in front of her face so no one could recognize her.

"Mila can you chill for a second. They're still warming up, the game haven't even started yet." The Polynesian mumbled but the brunette ignored her and continued to jump with excitement. Camila locked eyes with the soccer player and waved to her, Lauren shyly waved back.

The game finally started and Lauren was first to take off across the field. She slid across the turf and stole the ball from the opposing team. She dribbled and dodged every contender she faced.

Everyone in the stands was on their feet as the green-eyed girl charged the opponent's zone. Lauren found an opening and took a big swing at the ball. The soccer ball flew past the goalie and into the net. The crowd went wild as they cheered and chanted Lauren's last name.

"That's my girlfriend!" Camila cupped her hands on her mouth as screamed pointing at Lauren.

"Kill me now." Dinah scooted away from the brunette and hid her face with her blonde locks.
Lauren played magnificent throughout the entire game with 2 goals and 2 assists ending the game with a win, 4-1. Camila practically lost her voice shouting and screaming the girl's name from the stands while Dinah sat quietly clapping whenever the green-eyed girl got the ball.

"Lauren, Lauren! Can we get an interview with you real quick?" A blonde girl asked. The soccer player was coming off the field. She wiped off her sweat and tried to search for her girlfriend on the stands but someone kept calling her name. "Lauren?"

"I'm sorry what was that?" Lauren averted her attention to the girl in front of her.

"Do you mind if we asked you a few questions?" The interviewer repeated while she pointed at the camera in front of them.

"No, uh, go ahead." She replied, taking a sip from her water bottle.

"How are you feeling right now?" The girl shoved a microphone in front of the soccer player and looked right at the camera.

"Phenomenal." Lauren stated flatly.

"Lo! Hey! Lo!" The green-eyed girl heard. She looked over the interviewer and found her goofy girlfriend jumping up and down trying to get her attention. She shook her head and suppressed a chuckle. She tried to push past the interviewer but the girl was too quick.

"Lauren, wait." The girl grabbed the soccer player's wrist and pulled her back. Lauren looked down at her wrist and frowned. She hated when people were touchy, especially strangers. The interviewer followed Lauren's gaze and quickly let go of her wrist. "I'm sorry but this is for a grade. I really need you to participate, please."

Lauren nodded before shooting a remorseful look at her girlfriend. Camila smiled understandingly and waved it off.

"What do you think of whenever you are out on the field? Any inspiration to keep you going?" The girl queried before passing the microphone to Lauren. The soccer player held the microphone tightly and fidgeted in her spot. She was never really good with speaking. But she did know the answer.

"Uh, I, uh. When I'm on the field I usually clear my head and focus on one thing." Lauren answered.

"And what is that one thing?" The interviewer pressed.

"My girlfriend. She's over there. She's a lot better at speaking than me so you can ask her as many questions as you'd like." Lauren gestured for Camila to come closer. The brunette titled her head questioningly before proceeding to her girlfriend. Dinah happily trailed behind her.

"Hi." Camila greeted timidly in front of the camera. Dinah squealed and animatedly waved.

"Camila Cabello, girlfriend of Lauren Jauregui. What do you think of Lauren's performance tonight?" The blonde beamed.

"She did great. Amazing actually." Camila hummed. She then turned to Lauren and grinned. "You did great, babe."

Lauren pecked Camila's lips but couldn't help herself and deepened it. The interviewer shifted awkwardly as she watched the couple kiss. The cameraman put down the camera to gawk at them. Dinah rolled her eyes and took the microphone away from the blonde as she snapped her fingers at the cameraman.

"HOI! Ahem. Hi, this is Dinah Jane reporting live from Miami High. A crime scene has been reporte-" The Polynesian was interrupted as the interviewer snatched the mic away.

"Cut! Lets go, James." The girl fumed as she stomped away. Dinah pouted, her chance on being on live television had perished. She watched the girl walk to another soccer player and sparked up a conversation. She bowed her head in defeat.  That should have been her.

"It's okay, Hansen. You'll be on TV one day." Lauren reassured the taller girl. She locked hands with her girlfriend and tugged her to follow. The Polynesian grabbed the brunette's free hand before she could disappear with the soccer player and pulled her away from Lauren. The green-eyed girl felt the sudden jerk and turned to see what was going on.

"Sorry, Jauregui. I love you but Mila promised to take me out tonight." Dinah smiled smugly at the older Latina. Lauren glared at her then locked eyes with her girlfriend who wore an apologetic look on her face. She sighed and let the girl go.

"Fine. Get her home by 8 o'clock sharp." Lauren growled. Dinah nodded enthusiastically then lugged Camila to the other direction. The green-eyed girl was left standing there in the middle of a chaotic field as she watched Camila skip happily with Dinah. A scowl formed on her face already missing her girlfriend's touch.

"Jauregui. Give the camera a smile will yah?" Lauren's teammate, Normani, grabbed her by the neck and forced her to turn to the camera. The soccer player stared straight at the lens not bothering to do anything but look bored. Normani flashed a toothy grin then posed some silly faces for the camera. After the brief photoshoot, the pale girl vanished into the locker room leaving Normani to deal with the photographer.

"Hey, sorry about that. Lauren doesn't really smile. It's rare sight if it ever happens." She shook
her head and chuckled as she told the man.

-

Camila hummed along the song playing on the radio as she kept her eyes on the road. She quickly glanced at her best friend who seemed to have fallen asleep on the ride. She let out a cute snort before punching the girl's arm. Dinah had decided to spend the night at the Latina's house and they were coming near it so Camila thought it'd be best to wake the girl up. The Polynesian grumbled and turned away from the brunette.

"DINAH!" She screamed. Dinah jolted awake and banged her head on the roof of the car.

"Shit." The taller girl winced, rubbing the top of her head. Camila laughed at her best friend, earning a deathly glare. "Fuck you."

"I love you too, Dinah Jane." The Latina giggled. She focused back on the road and turned to her neighborhood. Dinah stared out the window and saw a familiar grey Honda civic. She creased her forehead and raised an eyebrow. Her lips curled up when she noticed a girl sitting in front of stairs on Camila's patio.

"Looks like Ms. Jauregui is on time, like always." She teased turning to the Latina as she pointed at the girl on patio.

Camila shifted her gaze from the road to her house and found her girlfriend reading a book with earphones plugged in. The sight gave her butterflies and caused her face to heat up a degree or two. She pulled in her driveway slowly, trying not to hit any of the parked cars.

Lauren's green eyes lifted from her book to the incoming car. She stood up and pulled her earplugs off stuffing them in her pocket. She straightened her varsity jacket as she waited for her girlfriend patiently.

Dinah was the first to jump out of the car and walk over to greet the green-eyed girl. Lauren saw the Polynesian and put on an unimpressed look. Dinah's smirk was wiped off when she came closer to Lauren. The green-eyed girl pulled up her jacket so that her watch was visible to the Polynesian.

"You're late." She said sternly as she pointed at her watch.

"It's 8:05." Dinah countered.

"5 minutes late. I said 8 o'clock sharp." Lauren shook her head and argued. She tapped her foot impatiently and wrinkled her eyebrows together.

"Lo..." The Polynesian tried but the soccer player wasn't having any of it. She put her hand up then motioned the girl to go inside. Dinah groaned and marched in like a child.
After a few seconds, Camila finally exited the vehicle and threw her bag on her back as she walked towards her girlfriend. Lauren's eyes widen when she noticed the girl carry her bag on her shoulders. She immediately took the heavy bag from the brunette and slung it on her shoulder. She greeted the girl with a quick peck on the lips then opened the door for the girl to walk in.

"Thanks, babe." The younger Latina said gratefully. Lauren just nodded and ran up the stairs to Camila's room to dispose of the bag. She then raced downstairs to her girlfriend and found her by back of the living room. Camila was leaning against the wall watching TV from across the room while Dinah cuddled with Sofi, the brunette's little sister, on the couch. She heard footsteps from behind and craned her head to meet her favorite emerald orbs.

"You know you should probably take it easy on Dinah. I was the one driving not her so I should get the blame on being late." The brunette challenged raising an eyebrow at her girlfriend.

"Eh, it's fun messing with her. Let her know who's the boss." Lauren shrugged. She moved behind to where Camila was and wrapped her arms around the girl's petite waist. "Besides I can never blame you."

Lauren placed open mouth kisses on the brunette's neck. The younger Latina hummed then bit her lip and tilted her head back to give her girlfriend more access. Camila held back a moan when Lauren sucked a particularly sensitive spot. The soccer player snuck her hands inside Camila's shirt and dragged her nails on her girlfriend's abdomen muscles.

"KAKS! CAN I HAVE SOME POPCORN?" Sofi squealed from the couch. Both girls were forced to break apart and give each other space. Camila's eyes dilated as she panted from the previous activities that had occurred. Lauren tried to compose her well being by taking a big breath in and letting it out.

"To be continued." Camila whispered pecking Lauren's lips lightly and running in the kitchen.
Lauren leaned back and rested her head on the wall. She ogled at the petite brunette shuffling around the kitchen. The way her soft curls fell so effortlessly beautiful by her face and how her brown eyes always twinkled, gave the soccer player a warm feeling in her stomach.

Camila felt eyes on her and looked to her side to find her girlfriend shamelessly checking her
out. She waited until Lauren's eyes travelled to meet hers. She furiously blushed when she noticed the girl's eyes change from a gentle green to lustful ones. The brunette was about to look away but a small curve on Lauren's mouth stopped her from doing so. She gaped as Lauren took long strides towards her with each step the girl's smile became more distinct.

The green-eyed girl took the spot behind her girlfriend and managed to wrap her arms on the girl's torso once again. She rested her chin on Camila's shoulder and side-eyed the girl.

"What?" Lauren asked. Camila faced the girl and giggled.

"Nothing." The younger Latina shook her head and went back to preparing the food for her sister.

"Camz..." The soccer player urged.

"It's just that... it's stupid. Nevermind." The brunette dismissed. Lauren quirked an eyebrow and pressed her lips on Camila's cheek.

"Tell me." She mumbled on her skin.

Camila groaned. She turned her head and locked eyes with Lauren. "You smiled, that's all."

The soccer player was taken off guard by her girlfriend's comment. She pulled away slightly and quipped her thick eyebrows together. "I always smile."

"Okay." Camila replied sarcastically. She paused for a second before speaking again. "You know your smile is one of many reasons why I fell in love with you. Its on the top three."

Lauren spun the girl around and cupped her face. She contorted her face as she flashed the brunette with the biggest and sloppiest smile she could make. Her eyes were squinted while she crinkled her nose to show her pearly whites.

"Does this make you fall in love me more then?" She teased making the younger girl laugh uncontrollably.

"If I say yes will you smile more often?" Camila bargained.

"Most likely... not." Lauren replied.

"I'll take it!" The brunette chuckled. "Besides, I don't think I can fall for you more. I'm already head over heels for you. And also, if you smile more people might want to steal you away from me and I can't let that happen. I may be small but I'll put up a fight."

"Okay, Camz." The soccer player rolled her eyes playfully and rested her hand on Camila's back. She pulled the girl closer and placed her forehead against Camila's. "I'll only smile for you."

"Promise?" The brunette breathed as she closed her eyes.

"Promise." The green-eyed girl enclosed her lips on Camila's bottom lip. The younger Latina melted in the kiss. As the pulled apart, Lauren smiled widely causing the brown-eyed girl to smile too.

A flash went off disrupting the couple's moment and causing them to search for the source. Dinah stood wide-eyed and frozen, like a deer in headlights. She furiously shook her head to avoid getting a beating from Lauren and pointed down. A little girl held a phone giggling at the photo she had just taken. She lifted her doe eyes from the phone to find two pairs of eyes staring right at her. She grinned from ear to ear and raised the camera to show the picture to the couple. Camila took the phone and admired the photo. The Polynesian saw an opportunity and scurried to Camila's side to see the picture, a smirk plastered on her face as she looked at the content.

"You guys are so cute. Awww Lo, you're smiling here." Dinah taunted. Lauren peeked and felt heat rise up her cheeks, they are cute but she couldn't let them think she had gone soft. She pretended to be annoyed by huffing bitterly then aggressively pushing her hands in her varsity jacket.

"Delete it." She barked before disappearing to the living room. Camila chuckled at her girlfriend's reaction. The brunette gave the phone back to Dinah and shot her best friend a pleading look.

"You want me to send it to you before I 'delete' it?" The Polynesian asked knowingly.

"Please." Camila begged. She looked down at her sister who was curiously staring at the soccer player on the couch.

"Is Lolo okay?" Sofi asked timidly. Camila crouched down to the little girl's level and draped her arm around her sister.

"Yeah. She's just grumpy." The older sibling explained. Sofi squealed causing the brunette jump a little. The little girl faced her older sister and pulled Camila's face towards her. Their nose bumping and eyes firmly locked.

"I know! You should flash Lolo a smile. It always makes her smile when you smile." Sofi suggested excitedly. Camila looked at her sister in a confused manner. Lauren never smiles, even if Camila were to smile.

"I don't think that's how it works, Sof." The brunette replied carefully. But the little girl disagreed, slapping her small hand on top her sister's mouth.

"It works that way! If you smile she smiles. She told me." Sofi spoke confidently, puffing out her tiny chest and bobbing her head up and down vigorously. "She says you're her kyp... krypton...krypt-"

"Kryptonite." Camila finished for the little girl.

"Yeah! That's what it is." Sofi gleamed.

Camila picked up the small girl and rested her on her hip. She walked over the counter to grab the bowl of snacks for her before making her way to the couch. Sofi wiggled out of her grasp then zoomed next to the green-eyed girl. Lauren opened her arms and scooped the little girl from the ground to her lap causing the little girl to giggle. The brunette stood there and admired how her girlfriend interacted with her sister. Lauren looked up at found Camila staring at her. She gave her a small smile and patted the vacant spot next to her. The younger Latina did not hesitate to sit down and melt in her girlfriend's arms.

"Hey that picture Sofi took is going to be my new wallpaper." Camila whispered as she lifted her eyes to meet Lauren's. "Is that okay?"

"I'd be honored." Lauren kissed the top of Camila's forehead and diverted her attention at the television. Camila hummed as she rested her head on the girl's shoulder.

"It's the other way around actually." She mumbled to no one in particular. But Lauren did.
