I do not own the Harry Potter characters but the plot is mine please don't steal it ______________________________

Harry's/Hadrian's/Hade's P.O.V.

It had been a week and Hadrian had been avoiding his friend and Snape, thankfully Poppy had excused him from classes for the week meaning he didn't have to leave his room much which meant he didn't leave at all.

This had everything to do with the fact that the House-elves had been bringing him food amongst other things, Hadrian was very close to completing the small library in his room due to a lack of sleep.

Draco stopped by every day hoping that his friend would let him in but the introverted child behind the door refused, today however was different the door was left open Hadrian knew that Draco would come down from the feast soon hoping to see him.

Hadrian had just finished yet another book that he had been reading just as a head full of blonde hair poked out of the door "hey" a small smile made its way onto Hade's face.

"Hello, how're you?" Hadrian's voice was small and rough indicating that he hadn't spoken in a while.

Draco walked further into the room closing the door behind him "okay, classes are boring so your not really missing anything. Oh and I got moved up to third year potions" Draco seemed to be trying to rid the room of the awkward silence.

Hadrian got up and placed the book on the read side of the bookcase which was almost all of the books, he'd requested a catalogue from flourish and blots, and a book store in knockturn Alley hoping to expand his collection.

"I'm sorry" Hadrian whispered the guilt of locking himself in his room had been eating away at him, "for what, locking yourself in your room? I think you have every right to be scared and shocked I would be if I was told that I was someone else's child" Hade just nodded still not feeling like it was okay knowing exactly how it felt to be locked out.

"How is he?" the question was spoken so quietly he was afraid he wouldn't hear it, "he's worried about you and for some reason the medical diagnosis is missing" Hadrian smiled slightly as the last part of the sentence knowing exactly where it was "oh I have it, you never know who might be snooping" he said as he pulled out a roll of parchment that was almost as thick as the divination parchments in the library.

Hadrian handed the Parchment to Draco knowing the boy was all to curious as to what lead to the potions master adopting the boy in the first place. The blonde boy looked a lot paler than usual "oh I need to remove the disillusion charm off some of it" Hadrian waved his hand allowing for more writing to appear some how Draco had managed to pale further "Hade why does it say death?"

Hadrian just shrugged not wanting to explain his encounter and deal with Death, "can I ask what is your creature?" Again the boy avoided his question Draco was about to ask another question when their was a knock at the door, Hadrian got up and the scroll went back to its usual place, stood at the door was Snape Hadrian could tell from the magical signature from behind it.

"Hello father, do come in" Hadrian went to the bookcase looking for something new to read knowing that this was a conversation he wouldn't want to pay attention too, he needed to find a book that would keep his interest he chose one on parselmagic.

"Har-" Hadrian glared at his farther "Hadrian, we need to speak about your living arrangements during yule" harry rolled his eyes "Yes I will stay at the Malfoys and I understand you are a teacher that means you wont be able to look after me."

Draco was suppressing a smirk thinking of the fact that he had not only rolled his eyes but was clearly trying to get on his nerves. "Thank you for understanding" Hadrian scoffed and walked out of the room disappearing into the shadows, using his gift to walk back into the room "why must he act like a child" this time Draco scoffed anger written all over the boys face.
