Taylor groaned as she woke up, feeling for Joe who was lying on the other side of the bed. Once Joe noticed she was awake he put down the book he was reading, looking over at her, "G'morning darling."

"Morning," Taylor mumbled, closing her eyes and resting her head on Joe's chest.

Joe stroked her face gently, "Do you want to get up soon?"

"No," Taylor said simply.

"Andrea and Scott are coming over for lunch, so I'm afraid we have too," Joe said, kissing her cheek.

Taylor buried her face into Joe's shirt, "But I'm tired."

"Okay, I'll go get everything ready, you can rest for a little bit longer," Joe began to stand up.

Taylor tugged on his shirt sleeve, "No! Come back and lie down with me."

"I can't darling, we need to prepare the food," Joe said looking down at her.

"Just five more minutes," Taylor pouted.

Joe got back into the bed, wrapping an arm around her, "Alright."

Taylor sighed contently, enjoying his warm embrace. The time flew quickly, and suddenly Joe was standing up again, "It's been five minutes, love."

"Already?" Taylor moaned.

"I'm sorry Taylor, why don't you just stay in bed and I'll get the stuff ready," Joe leaned down to kiss the top of her head.

Taylor frowned, "No, I'll get up."

Standing out of bed she groaned, feeling her lower stomach. Joe looked at her worriedly, "You alright, honey?"

"I'm fine," Taylor said, but she was going through an immense amount of pain. She was only on her 36th week of pregnancy, and her doctor had reminded her that she would most likely be experiencing Braxton Hicks. If this is what false contractions feel like, the real ones must be terrible.

"Okay," Joe said, not totally buying it.

After they got changed, Taylor went to curl her hair. She took a deep breath, leaning back in her seat as she felt another false contraction. She closed her eyes, Braxton Hicks sucks.

Joe was downstairs, putting some chicken in the oven. Walking downstairs they finished making lunch together. Taylor sat down at the dining table as they waited for Andrea and Scott. She grimaced as she felt another pain in her stomach. She tried to remember exactly what her doctor had told her about Braxton Hicks, and how long they last. How many of them are supposed to happen? I've only had three in the past four hours, so it's fine.

Joe opened the door for Scott and Andrea, "Hey! C'mon in, the foods ready."

They all sat down at the table, chatting mainly about the baby. "So, your due in four weeks?" Andrea asked excitedly.

"Yup!" Taylor smiled, leaning her head against Joe's shoulder.

"I'm so happy for you guy's," Scott said, grinning. "I'm going to be a grandfather."

Taylor was about to respond when another pain in her stomach hit her. They aren't usually supposed to last this long. She stood up from the table, "I'll be right back, sorry."

Joe gave her a worried look, watching as she walked towards the bathroom. Taylor stood in front of the mirror, looking down at her stomach. What's happening? Suddenly there was a gush of liquid in Taylor's underpants. At that same moment Joe stepped into the restroom to check on here.

Taylor stood there, shocked. Joe walked over to her, "Honey what's wrong?"

"M-my water broke," Taylor blubbered out.
