The citizens had gathered in a small street, all of their gazes up as they watched what was just happening. A big cloud of smoke was coming from behind the Wall, indicating that something wasn't right.

That day, the human race remembered...

Somewhere in the crowd were four children side by side, their mouths open in amazement as a giant hand was placed on top of the Wall.

...the terror of being dominated by them...

A woman in the crowd quickly pointed up at the hand gripping the Wall, as the other citizens around her were dead silent.

...and the shame of being held captive in a birdcage.

One of the children gasped as a giant, skinless head appeared behind the wall. Its black eyes started at the city as it stood right behind the gate, making the poor souls inside it feel fear deep in their bones.

The sound of hooves hitting the ground filled the air as a group of soldiers were riding their horses. All of them had their green capes on, with the well-known symbol of the Survey Corps printed on them. They were approaching a forest, each of them placing their hoods down as their Commander started yelling instructions.

"All personnel, prepare for battle!" the Commander yelled, leading them to the entrance of the forest. "There's one target! Kill it without fail!"

As the soldiers entered the forest, they immediately increased their speed, leaving a big cloud of dust behind them. They slid between the trees on their horses, while making sure to stay as a group.

"400 meters to target!" a soldier yelled, making sure that all of them heard him. "It's heading this way!"

Indeed, a short distance away from them was a 15 meter titan, that was slowly walking towards them. The soldiers riding towards it immediately turned to their Commander, waiting for him to say something.

"Just as we practised, split into five groups! We'll be the decoys!" he shouted.

Just as the soldiers splitted into the given groups, another voice shouted again. "100 meters to target!"

The Commander nodded, and then started signaling with his hand. "All attack groups! Switch to vertical maneuvering!"

Immediately, all of the soldiers took off to the air. Their capes were fluttering in the strong wind around them as they flew towards the target, their hearts hammering in their chests like a woodpecker pecking at a tree.

"We strike at the same time from all directions!"

One of the soldiers flew past the others, taking out his swords as he used the trees to move in the air. He attached his wires to the titan's nape, and did a u-turn in the air by them. He raised his swords as he got closer, and then started shouting. "Let's teach this thing..."

"The power of humanity!"
