It's been a couple days since the date, me and Cody haven't really talked a lot but that's the least of my worries.

I over heard something I know I wasn't supposed to hear, Liz and Rhys conversation now I don't know what to do.

I can't just tell her

'Hey last night I totally overheard you're pretty private conversation hahahahaha'

"Hey Y/n" Ava yelled

"What?" I asked

"You're getting a call on your phone someone named 'cutie🙃'" Ava yelled

I run out of the bathroom and into the living room where I left my phone. Ava hands it to me and I pick up

"Hello?"

"Hey!" It's Cody's voice on the other line

"Oh hey, what's up with the sudden call also why did you name yourself cutie?" I asked with Ava giving me a look a look that says 'you better tell me who the hell that is'

"Haha you go straight to the point, well I wanted to know if you could MAYBEEE do me a favour and am I not a cutie?" He asked

"What kind of favour and no you're not?" I asked knowing it's gonna be something I don't wanna do

"Ow meanie, Anyways most of my boxes came in yesterday and was wonderinggg if maybeee you could come help me unpack some of them?" He asked saying the last part really fast.

"Ugh what a pain in the ass, no I don't wanna!" I scoff at his request

"Please!" He begged

"No!"

"What if I got us food?" He asked

"..."

Did he just say...food?

"Um hello? Did you hang up?"

"When do you want me to come over?" I asked giving in to his request

"Really? It only took me saying I'll buy you some food? Pfft okay can you come over in about 30 minutes I'll go get the food now, then we can unpack" he said

"Yeah yeah that's fine just make sure you get something good!" I say hanging up on him

I look over at Ava who's confused as all heck
I sit back down and obviously Ava starts to interrogate me

"So who was that?" She asked

"Our new neighbour I met him the other day at a dinner date Lorelei asked us to go on" I say

"Us? Why wasn't I informed then?"

"I don't know, you still weren't 100% better yet and I know you don't love Lorelei anyways"

"Hey we both don't love Lorelei but you're able to tolerate her more then me I guess, anyways go on you said it was a he? Are you crushing?" Ava says giving me a cat faced look

"Ha ha as if we're just friends beside we already have to take care of 6 children from another world I don't have time for crushes!" I say crossing my arms

"Yeah that's true but you're still going over to see him. what did he say to get you to go?" Ava asked

"Haha well he's getting me food! And as you know that's my favourite thing on this lovely world!"
