Falling Pages.

In the morning, I stuffed my bag with my unfinished assignment and rushed out of the house to be at college in time.

Outside the campus Edd was waiting for me. I got off the Bus and walked straight towards him.

"So, what plans?" I asked him, expecting an intelligent reply.

"Mouth zipped, Eyes low, walk slow, let's go."

My reply caused Edd to make a bitchface.

We held hands and walked towards the auditorium. Edd was ranting throughout though I paid no attention. I was feeling low and getting some weird vibes, something was wrong. I remembered HIS voice. James said I don't need to worry about today's assignment. But my anxiety wasn't really about the assignment, some unknown instincts made me feel uncomfortable.
Now we were walking in the auditorium. Just a few steps and we were at the stairs to our classes. I stood at our position and stared at the staircase. This wasn't the first time I didn't complete my assignment but the first time that I was getting such a weird vibe. Edd tried to peep at my face, probably wondering what I was about to do.

"No-" escaped my lips.

"What?" Edd asked.

I looked at him, nodded to myself, and said, "Let's leave before anyone notices our presence, let's go."
"You mean, you wanna bunk classes? YOU are backing out? Hey, what's wrong? Where are your virtues and boundaries?" Edd continued asking as I pulled him backwards and we started to walk towards the exit. At the exact moment I felt I could hear pages flapping and I saw a page floating on top of my head.
I turned to look back and almost at the same moment I heard a scream followed by a thud. The entire view got blocked my falling pages from somewhere above.
The pages settled on the ground clearing my view and I froze at the sight.

Blood.

I started getting a panic attack. I couldn't breathe. The sight was terrible. A lady was lying on the floor, blood flowing out from somewhere around her head. Her face wasn't visible, it faced the other side.
Somebody came running from my left and turned the lady to reveal her face.
As the guy removed the hair from her face I could here someone shriek and the sight made me freeze at that moment.
"M-madam O-OlseN!" Edd shouted.
People came running to help her as we got pushed towards the exit.
Still shakened, I held Edd's hand and ran out of the college premises, away from anyone's sight.
